I'm not sure about the staying power. It tends to smudge during application, so you need to touch it up.

The color payoff is great. It looks beautiful when you apply it as a base and then layer a lighter tint on top.

The staying power wasn't particularly long-lasting. Since it doesn't have a separate applicator tip like a tint, I found it a bit inconvenient to apply with fingers or a separate brush. Later on, it felt quite drying on the lips.

The color was truly a classic blood-red shade that seemed suitable for both warm and cool skin tones. It looks especially beautiful when applied to the inner part of the lips.

On cool-toned skin, it appears more like a deep purple. It dries quickly and turns powdery. Despite its 'cool tone' name, it looks off on cool complexions.

The color is truly beautiful. This product gives off an Amélie-esque vibe.

The shape makes it a bit awkward to apply. I'm thinking of trying a tint product next time.

Staying power - Nonexistent. Portability - It's a hassle to carry around a brush, and hygiene is an issue, so I just keep it at home.

I first bought Ameli after watching that old Hanbyul video. And yes, I have the Vampire color too! While the pot-type packaging might seem a bit dated now, when I bought it, I was unsure if I could even pull it off. Remember when we thought lips always needed an applicator tip? There are some downsides, but let me start with the positives as requested. First off, as Hanbyul mentioned, it's all about how you apply it. The Vampire color isn't exactly cool-toned; it's more of a deep orange-red, like a scab (in a good way!). You can either use a brush for an even, pretty application, or just use clean fingers to dab it on for that effortlessly messy look. To others, it might seem like you rushed out, but that's the whole 'just-bitten' vibe we're going for! The formula is moisturizing, similar to the non-staining glosses that are popular these days. The big question is: pretty or weird? As someone with a deep skin tone, I find it pretty! It really does look like blood, which made it perfect for Halloween too!

First off, you have to apply it with your fingers, which is both hygienic and not (?)
When you apply one layer, it's like, 'What? It's barely visible.'
But the moment you apply a second layer, it suddenly becomes super thick.
Maybe it's because I have thin lips, but it's like, how should I put it... it just hits you all at once.
If you don't like the over-lined or full lip look, you need to be really careful and apply it only to the inner part of your lips.

Finding the perfect lip color for those with a deep, rich undertone is harder than finding a needle in a haystack!
After my holy grail was discontinued, I searched like a hyena for a new lip product and discovered this gem!
As you can see from the rating, it's not a perfect match, but...

For a stunning look, try applying this over the Vintage tint. The combination is absolutely gorgeous.

The pigmentation and staying power aren't particularly impressive. After using it several times, some strange clumps form - they look like pen ink residue, but I'm not sure what they are.

It absorbs beautifully even after multiple applications, leaving a soft, matte finish. I feel like 'Blood Red' might be a more fitting name than 'Vampire' for this product. It spreads smoothly and evenly, which is really nice. It also works great as a blush.

It's a safe choice for touch-ups, blending in subtly without drawing attention.

Instead of a deep red, it's actually a brighter shade than I expected.

It absorbs well with just a light application, and the color payoff is impressive. The staying power is also quite good.

Amelie Flat Lips

The deep, mature red shade reminds me of vampire blood. I love how versatile this product is - you can build it up for an intense, almost scab-like effect, or apply it lightly for a more subtle look. It layers beautifully, allowing you to create different intensities.

Applying it with a brush for a gradient effect creates a really beautiful look.

While the longevity and staining power are a bit lacking, it's somewhat unavoidable given the formula's nature. Also, the price feels a tad steep. Although the packaging is truly gorgeous, it's not the most convenient for carrying around or applying on-the-go.

The color is absolutely stunning. It truly lives up to its 'Vampire' name. What makes it even more beautiful is how it applies with a transparent, non-muddy finish. The pigmentation builds up gradually, just like in the photos, allowing you to achieve your desired intensity.

Using a brush gives a cleaner, more even application without patchiness!

All the cases look the same, so it's hard to tell them apart if you own multiple shades. This isn't just a Flat Lips issue, but applies to all Ameli products.

You can't apply it with your fingers if you don't have a tissue handy... because you can't wipe it off easily.

Also, it builds up color with every layer you apply! While this could be a plus, it can easily lead to patchiness and uneven application.

I used to wear this before Ameli closed, and I recently repurchased it after they reopened. It might just be my impression, but I feel like the previous Vampire shade was a bit prettier.

When applied thinly, it gives a sheer tint, and as you build it up, it becomes redder without looking muddy! After trying it, I totally understand why everyone raves about Vampire.

It's fragrance-free, so it's okay for those sensitive to scents.

And the amount you get... it's an absolute beast of a product!
