And yes, I have the Vampire color too! While the pot-type packaging might seem a bit dated now, when I bought it, I was unsure if I could even pull it off. Remember when we thought lips always needed an applicator tip? There are some downsides, but let me start with the positives as requested. First off, as Hanbyul mentioned, it's all about how you apply it. The Vampire color isn't exactly cool-toned; it's more of a deep orange-red, like a scab (in a good way!). You can either use a brush for an even, pretty application, or just use clean fingers to dab it on for that effortlessly messy look. To others, it might seem like you rushed out, but that's the whole 'just-bitten' vibe we're going for! The formula is moisturizing, similar to the non-staining glosses that are popular these days. The big question is: pretty or weird? As someone with a deep skin tone, I find it pretty! It really does look like blood, which made it perfect for Halloween too!
ConsStaining - It does stain, but minimally. Adherence - It basically transfers and disappears. Moisture - It's hydrating, but different from today's moisturizing lip products. Staying power - Nonexistent. Portability - It's a hassle to carry around a brush, and hygiene is an issue, so I just keep it at home.
TipOh, and you can achieve that dark red lip look that those filter-free Thai, Vietnamese, or Chinese influencers post on Instagram with this!

You need to dab it on two or three times to achieve that vampy look. That's how I create the desired color effect too. ✔️Scent: It's not overpowering or artificial, which is great! ✔️Adherence: It adheres to the lips much better when applied with a lip brush rather than fingers! ✔️Longevity: I'd say it lasts about as long as a typical lipstick! Since it's not a tint, that's to be expected.
Cons- Price: Considering the product's performance, I think it's a bit overpriced. It doesn't even come with a mini brush, and applying it with fingers is messy and makes it hard to achieve a neat look. - Longevity: Due to the lack of staining, it doesn't last very long. It doesn't really feel like it's adhering properly to the lips either... After wearing a mask for an hour, I had to reapply in front of my boyfriend. It's embarrassing and annoying to touch up your lips in front of your partner, so I can't wear this when I'm out and need to wear a mask.
TipI usually apply a staining cherry-colored tint first, then lightly layer this lip product on top. But honestly, the staying power is really disappointing...

As soon as you apply it, your skin appears brighter. The color is a slightly muted tone, mixing a hint of orange with red.
ConsThere are two potentially harmful ingredients, and it tends to dry out a bit and flake when applied...
TipIt seems best to use this after applying lip balm, once your lips are moisturized.

Only Ameli could pull off this vampire blood shade. It's truly beautiful. I usually don't like dark lips and prefer coral tones, but this is genuinely stunning. 2. The amount is incredibly generous. I have the pre-renewal version, and there's so much product that I feel like I could use it as a stamp pad ink when I run out of ink for my seal. I'm in my 20s now, but I think this could last me until I'm 50!
Cons1. Longevity: The staying power is really disappointing. This is the biggest letdown. 2. Inconvenient application: It's a hassle to apply with fingers or a brush, especially when you're out and about. 3. Bleeding: The formula doesn't adhere well, so it tends to bleed a little from the lips. I applied it like a gradient, concentrating the color in the center of my lips, which might contribute to this issue. If you're going for a full lip look with this, you'll need to be extra careful.
TipThe quantity is so generous that you could mix it with lip balm to create your own tinted balm, or even blend a bit with concealer as a makeshift blush when you're in a pinch. It seems versatile enough for various creative applications.
