It does a great job of filling in pores, so those who love a natural, bare-faced look will probably adore this As someone with dehydrated skin, I felt deep dryness when I applied it - Hwahae UserOily SkinApr 11, 2020
★Written by someone with combination skin★ 1. Leaves a powdery finish This product has a nice, powdery finish that I really like. 2. Evens out skin tone well It's very effective at evening out the complexion, but it might make you look a bit too pale... 1. Can be too drying at times Since it's not particularly rich in oils, it can be very drying. 2. Leaves a white cast While it evens out the skin tone well, it makes you look too white. There's a noticeable difference between your face and neck... 3. Pilling when used with other makeup It occasionally pills when layered with other products. On very dry days, it helps to apply a small amount of Vaseline on top. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 20, 2020
It's great because I don't need to wear makeup, and it's a sunscreen with just the right amount of brightening effect. It's drying, and I'm getting some blemishes. I'll need to keep an eye on it to see if this product is the cause. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinMar 17, 2020
I've been using this product for 8 years, from when I was 17 in high school until now at 25. I've tried various alternatives in between, but I still haven't found anything that matches up to this... haha. I think I've seen the packaging change about 4 times now! First off, it's affordable! If you buy it during a 1+1 promotion, you can get it for a really great price. The brightening effect is outstanding. If you apply the right amount, it gives enough coverage that you might not even need makeup. When applied after a rich cream, it doesn't feel dry at all. Using this product alone might feel a bit dry, but that could be because I have dry skin. If you prep your skin well before applying, it keeps your skin hydrated all day long! If you apply too much, it can look cakey! It almost looks like dead skin cells... My boyfriend once teased me saying I had 'dirt' on my face. Also, if your skin is a bit dry, it doesn't absorb well at all. Make sure to prep your skin thoroughly. I apply this after using the yellow Dr. Jart cream, and when I do it this way, it hardly ever looks cakey! - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 16, 2019
It does brighten the skin and cover pores quite well. However, I can't recommend it. It's hard to find many positive things to say... It's thick, difficult to apply, and clumps up. I bought it for brightening, but it's extremely drying. I have dry skin with no blemishes, yet this is the only product that makes something appear on my face by evening. It's not great, and I rarely reach for it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 14, 2019
I bought this during a buy-one-get-one-free promotion, and I've been using it since. The best part is how it brightens my skin! It doesn't leave that strange white cast, but instead gives a natural brightening effect, making it perfect as a base. I've been really enjoying it for that purpose. There's also a slight pink undertone that seems to give me a healthier complexion. I have dry skin, so I find it a bit too drying for autumn and winter use. Because it has a powdery finish, it tends to pill, especially around the sides of my nose, which can be quite frustrating. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSep 7, 2019
This product is the best for a natural brightening effect. I used to apply sunscreen and then a separate brightening moisturizer, but with this, I can achieve a luminous look with just sunscreen. It simplifies my makeup routine significantly. On days when I'm too lazy for a full face, I just do: toner > this sunscreen. That's it! Even with just this, my complexion looks radiant without feeling heavy on the skin. It can be slightly drying, but mixing in a tiny bit of a moisturizing emulsion or ampoule improves both the hydration and how it absorbs into the skin. If you find it drying, try mixing in a small amount of ampoule or emulsion when applying. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJun 23, 2019
I love light makeup, so I've been using this with just concealer for 5 years now! While it may vary depending on individual complexion, I find it gives me a natural brightening effect that I really like. It can flake if you rub it on due to dryness. You need to pat it gently to apply it properly. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinMar 17, 2019
I've been using this product for 6 years straight! I'm posting it alongside Cellfusion C for comparison. First off, Etude House needs to keep producing this for me...!!!! It's been my go-to sunscreen from 6th grade through high school...!!! The brightening effect is really amazing 👍👍👍 One of the reasons I use it. It naturally brightens my skin by about three shades. When I go to school without anything else on, people think it's my natural skin color. My friends have thought this for 6 years, but the truth is my skin isn't actually that light... haha. While I am fairer than most, it's not a 'Wow, so white!' level. My natural skin tone is around 19-21 in Korean shades. When using cushion products, I need to use 17-19 shades. Anyway, the brightening effect is incredible. You can achieve a naturally bright look, like you're not wearing makeup. The staying power is great 👍👍👍 Personally, I think it lasts a long time. Even if it doesn't, it fades beautifully. I apply it around 8 AM before school, and when I check the mirror throughout the day, I still look radiant. Of course, it varies from person to person, and sometimes I look a bit tanned, but most days it maintains my complexion even as time passes. It doesn't cause blemishes Exactly as it sounds! But rather than saying it doesn't cause any, it's safer to say it's not risky. I mean I've never had breakouts because of this sunscreen. It's affordable!!! Sometimes it's on a 1+1 deal for around 9,000 won, and sometimes it's half price at about 6,000 won. I think it's a great deal for this quality at this price. There's a slight oiliness It has some oil. It's not a lot, but you can feel it. So it might not be great for those with oily skin. It can be drying for those with dry skin I find it a bit drying, so I apply some Vaseline on top. It's not moisturizing and can feel quite dry, which is a bit of a downside. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 5, 2019
It's a mineral sunscreen that brightens and offers high sun protection. It doesn't irritate the eyes. You need to be careful with the amount to avoid over-brightening. It's too drying for winter use. It doesn't seem to pair well with semi-foundation, emphasizes dead skin cells, and can make skin look flaky.
