It provides just the right amount of hydration. The brightening effect is moderate. You can go foundation-free with this. It's been discontinued. Please bring it back! I've become a skincare nomad. I have oily skin. I've been using this product since high school. It doesn't cause any blemishes, and it slightly brightens my complexion, allowing me to go out with a bare face confidently! It evens out my skin tone so well that I don't need foundation, I just apply this. I think I'm on my third bottle now. By evening, it tends to break down. It comes off easily. Also, if you apply foundation over this, it pills.
