I first tried B.plane's Cicaterol Ampoule and was so satisfied that I decided to purchase this product for summer use. First off, it definitely applies lightly and absorbs well. The soothing effect is also quite noticeable. While it may not be as potent as the Cicaterol product, I think it's more than sufficient. The hydration level was also satisfactory. I was satisfied with everything else, but the scent felt a bit artificial. Most cosmetics are fine for me, but the fragrance of this product was slightly bothersome. Apart from that, I was completely satisfied. I think it would be even better if used together with the Calming Gel Cream from the same brand. If you have any dry areas, it might be beneficial to layer this product for added moisture. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 14, 2022
It provides excellent hydration and maintains a moisturized feeling long after application Occasionally, there's a sense of an artificial scent - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMay 4, 2022
It absorbs well into the skin without feeling sticky or heavy, which I really appreciated For me, it had a slight medicinal scent that I wasn't particularly fond of - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 15, 2022
Ingredients: As a popular item on Hwahae, it has gentle, low-irritation ingredients, so you can use it with peace of mind. It should work well for those who respond positively to cica products! Packaging: I liked that it comes in a pump bottle, which is hygienic. The pump dispenses the solution easily with just one press, making it convenient! (Sometimes when using ampoules with stiff pumps, I get a bit frustrated, but this product's rubber pump is nice and soft.) Scent: There's a very slight chemical smell, reminiscent of acetone. It's not overpowering, but those with sensitive noses might find it unpleasant. Effectiveness: Since my skin usually responds well to cica, I had high hopes for its soothing effects. Honestly, I'm not sure if it made much difference... Even when I focused on areas with red blemishes, there wasn't much change. It might be suitable for those looking for a decent, unremarkable product. Hydration: As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I found it slightly drying. The texture is closer to a toner than an ampoule. For those with combination dehydrated or dry skin, try applying two layers! First, dispense and absorb one layer, then follow up with a second application. I found it less drying when applied in two layers. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 20, 2021
This serum has a slightly thin consistency that feels cool and applies very smoothly. I liked how it absorbs slowly, making it easier to spread thicker sunscreens on top. When I applied it to occasional blemishes, I could visibly see the redness subsiding. Compared to the first-generation cica ampoule, the absorption and application were similar, but there was a slightly off-putting medicinal scent that I found a bit unpleasant. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 9, 2021
I decided to purchase this product due to its good ingredients and positive reviews. I appreciate that the brand seems to focus on eco-friendly production, which aligns with my values. The product has a light consistency, just as I prefer. Compared to the Torriden toner I used before, which felt almost like water and didn't quite provide enough hydration, this one seems to lock in moisture for longer. There's a slight artificial clay-like scent if you smell it closely, but it's not overpowering or bothersome. Another big plus is that there's nothing to remove when recycling the packaging. Since it's said to be effective for blemishes, I'll keep using it and see how it goes! The mask that came with it was great too! It retains more essence than other sheet masks, so the hydration seems to last longer. The scent is a bit artificial? But that's the only minor issue, and it's not even bothersome. Given its light consistency, it might be best to finish with an emulsion before bed for extra moisture! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinDec 17, 2020
It's a decent product that gets the job done. If you struggle with deep dryness, it might be worth giving this a try. This was my first time using an ampoule, and I feel it's not really a necessary step for my skin. My regular toner and moisturizer provide enough hydration, so I didn't notice much of an effect. Also, there's a slight chemical scent that was off-putting at first, though I got used to it over time. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAug 4, 2020
I found it gentle and quick to absorb, which was nice. I tend to have deep dryness, but this helped alleviate that issue. While it wasn't quite enough on its own during winter, layering it twice worked well. For summer, it was perfectly adequate. I bought this during a Hwahae promotion after using similar products, but I'm planning to switch back. There's a slightly bitter, chemical scent to it that made me a bit uneasy. Fortunately, it didn't cause any blemishes. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 25, 2020
I snagged this on sale for a great price. It definitely seems to have a calming effect on my skin. The amount is quite small, and the scent is really off-putting. It has a bit of a chemical smell. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinJul 18, 2020
I bought this for 9,900 won during a sale event. The product applies smoothly and feels moisturizing, but there was a slight stickiness after patting it in. Luckily, my blemishes seemed to calm down after using this product, hehe. I'm satisfied with the price since I got it on sale. This is my first time trying an ampoule, so I can't really compare it to others, but for a first attempt, I'd say it's a success!!! I didn't experience any blemishes or discomfort after using it. It seems like a satisfying product overall. The scent is kind of like an ointment? Some people might not like that, I suppose, haha.
