The cleansing balm has a sorbet-like texture that doesn't drip. Unlike oils that can run down your face before you even start massaging, this stays put, which I found really nice. When you rub it with your hands, it melts smoothly and transforms into an oil, but not the kind that runs everywhere. It effectively removes even heavy makeup. It's great at taking off glitter and mascara, so it can handle intense looks. The cleansing effectiveness is so good that if you wear light makeup, you can remove both base and color makeup with just this balm, no need for a second cleanse. See how cleanly it removes the lip tint? Usually, cleansing oils leave a greasy film on your face, but the Banila Co cleansing balm leaves no residue and rinses off cleanly. It's even passed tests for removing fine dust, so you can use it with confidence.
ConsIt's a bit disappointing that it doesn't completely remove sunscreen. If it could do that, it would be perfect.
TipIt's also pretty good for managing nose blackheads. Since it doesn't run like an oil, you can focus on rolling it over your nose to really clean the surface.
