The mugwort scent is absolutely delightful! It's not your typical mugwort smell, but rather a fragrant aroma. The spray power is quite good too. Above all, its soothing effect is excellent. After using the spray for a while, it tends to malfunction, causing the product to leak around the nozzle. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 19, 2020
First off, the scent is herbal? But it's not unpleasant. The spray power is seriously amazing - if you spritz from far away, it even reaches your clothes. It's moisturizing, and instead of sitting on top of the skin, it absorbs quickly, which is great for my dry skin. Spraying it two or three times and letting it absorb leaves my skin feeling hydrated and makes me happy. It seems perfect for those days when your skin needs a break. As mentioned earlier, it's a bit inconvenient that it can reach your clothes even when sprayed from a distance, but if you spray it very close to your skin, it just runs like water, so that's not an issue. A major drawback for me is that the cap is too loose and just comes off, which I found really annoying. Also, the amount is small - it's not super cheap, and since I use it two or three times a day, it runs out quickly. When my skin is sensitive and needs a break, I just cleanse with water and spray this on! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 29, 2019
The product itself is great. I have sensitive skin, but it didn't cause any blemishes. The fragrance is also really lovely (it's genuinely so good, I want to keep smelling it - such a fresh scent). The mist and toner are basically water, so they evaporate when applied, leaving your skin even drier. Sure, if you apply a lot like the '7-skin method', it might feel more hydrating, but water is water and will evaporate no matter how much you layer it. As it evaporates, it takes moisture from your skin, so it's best to avoid using these if possible. It's better to start with an emulsion, preferably one with a fluid texture. I used to have great skin and only wore a thin layer of BB cream. But during the double cleansing craze, I over-cleansed. I used cleansing water with cotton pads (causing irritation), followed by a harsh alkaline foam cleanser (more irritation). This led to redness, makeup not adhering well (I didn't moisturize properly after such harsh cleansing), blemishes, and a compromised skin barrier. I could only use products I was already using. When I went to a dermatologist, they advised against double cleansing, cotton pads, and toners. Since following this advice, my skin has improved significantly. The redness is gone, and my makeup doesn't separate. Of course, if you wear heavy makeup, you might need to double cleanse, but I use water-soluble sunscreen to avoid this. In conclusion, you don't need to use toners or mists. You can start directly with an emulsion. The idea that you must use toner before emulsion is just a marketing tactic. It can actually make your skin drier. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 30, 2019
I'm currently using this product as a toner. The liquid formula allows me to apply 3-4 layers without any stickiness, and it absorbs well into the skin. I didn't notice much blemish-calming effect when using it as a mist, but when layering it multiple times, I saw a slight improvement. It's not a miracle worker, but after popping a pimple and applying this before bed, I wake up with significantly reduced redness. It's a decent product overall, so I'd give it 3.6 stars. Due to its lack of oil, it doesn't really feel moisturizing. The spray nozzle leaks excessively. When you press the spray, it works fine, but if you turn the bottle upside down, the product just runs out. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 4, 2019
1. First off, the scent of the Hanyul Artemisia line is absolutely delightful. It's not artificial at all, but rather gives a very comforting and soothing feeling. The fragrance alone is so healing that I've really fallen in love with the Hanyul Artemisia line! 2. Even though it's not an aerosol spray mist, the spraying power is like a fine fog!! It disperses evenly and finely. 3. I mainly use it for base makeup or during my skincare routine, and it provides even hydration. 1. With gas-propelled mists, you can just press once with a 'psssht' sound and you're done. But with the Hanyul mist, you need to go 'spritz-spritz-spritz-spritz-spritz-spritz' to cover your whole face. Your finger gets quite the workout! 2. If you spray too vigorously, sometimes the product can form droplets at the nozzle and drip down. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 19, 2019
I'm absolutely smitten with the fragrance and keep spritzing it on. It's like walking into a flower shop - that lovely freesia scent! While it feels like a basic mist, it's amazing how it leaves my skin looking dewy and radiant even when applied over makeup. The spray action is decent, and I love that it doesn't irritate my skin at all. The plastic bottle makes it convenient to carry around, but it tends to leak sometimes. The cap doesn't secure very well either. Also, it's quite pricey for the amount you get. Try to grab it at duty-free shops or when there's a sale on 11st. It's fantastic - even just applying it over sunscreen makes your skin look great! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 6, 2018
The spray power is great and it has a lovely scent. After applying, my skin feels wonderfully hydrated! Occasionally, it causes blemishes. If it drips down your face after spraying and gets into your eyes, it can sting. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinJun 10, 2017
I have extremely sensitive skin I have suffered from chronic dermatitis for many years, and for years I have had inflamed, bumpy, itchy breakouts that come up daily, along with a burning sensation. This product has been very helpful for me - I even used it as a toner instead of skin. The spray power is a bit weak Sometimes it just drips down instead of spraying It's quite moisturizing, so when I apply it after makeup, it can make the makeup smear a bit... - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinDec 7, 2016
The cooling sensation was light and refreshing, the absorption into the skin was just right, it wasn't irritating, and most importantly, the fragrance was not overpowering and was pleasant. Rather than being fully absorbed, it tends to spread a bit. So I don't apply too much, and instead apply it in two layers. Apply it twice before makeup. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 16, 2016
The moisture and hydration are the best. I usually don't want to apply anything before bed, but this is good when I need to apply something. Just spraying this once recharges the moisture and provides hydration, and there is no tightness at all even when I pat it in for absorption. It absorbs quickly and there is almost no oiliness or stickiness. The spray distribution is also good, spreading evenly. The subtle mugwort scent is not unpleasant, and it even lifts my mood. As much as it's hydrating, there is a slight, ever so slight oily feel. It's not irritating, but more like a noticeable oily sensation that comes with the hydration. I usually use an alcohol-free toner to cleanse, and maybe that's why, but when I use this, I feel like a blemish or two pops up. If I don't pat it in, it tends to just slide down rather than absorbing, and if it gets in my eyes, it stings a bit.
