I have combination skin! This absorbs well after application and leaves a refreshing feeling! It doesn't seem to provide much hydration. It's just okay? I used to use Ti*Ti* Milk Skin, and compared to that, this feels like it has much weaker moisturizing power. It might work well as a light exfoliating toner! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 31, 2021
It absorbs quickly when applied as the first step in your skincare routine, leaving your skin feeling hydrated and moisturized. The fragrance-free formula is great for those with sensitive noses. I also love that it comes in a glass bottle. It would have been more convenient if it had a pump dispenser. Other than that, I have no complaints - it's a great product. This essence seems perfect for a DIY skin pack using cotton pads on dry days, giving your skin that extra boost of hydration. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinApr 12, 2021
The scent is pleasantly different from what I initially expected when I bought it. I'm using it alternating with P:rem, either morning and evening or every other day. While P:rem provides a light skin-evening effect, this one absorbs with a deeply hydrating feel. One minor drawback is that it doesn't absorb instantly, so you need to wait a bit after evening out your skin tone before moving to the next step. However, it's not a significant issue that would bother you too much. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 31, 2021
Compared to its cousin, the mugwort essence line, this one has a thicker consistency and feels more hydrating. I really love the ingredients, and it absorbs well without being sticky. There's nothing bad to say! The bottle color is beautiful and looks luxurious. I hope they don't discontinue it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 25, 2020
I've been using Missha cosmetics since before they had physical stores, but recently I've been buying skincare mainly from Hwahae Shopping, which led me to explore various brands. I was curious about the red essence, so I decided to give it a try. Although I haven't been using it for long, I'm impressed. The essence is a transparent liquid with a reddish tint. It feels wonderfully hydrating on the skin. It has a slight viscosity, but absorbs well into the skin, leaving it feeling fresh. I thought it would be watery, but the slight thickness actually makes it feel somewhat nourishing. There are no harmful ingredients, and so far, I haven't found anything to complain about. It's great to use as a mist if you transfer it to a spray bottle! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinNov 4, 2020
I received this as a gift and noticed it's quite pricey, but it's a great deal when on sale! While some Missha products work for me and others don't, most of them tend to suit my skin well. I'm extremely satisfied with this product and have been using it happily. It's a single-ingredient formula with excellent components. The consistency is perfect - not too watery - and as it absorbs, my skin feels more elastic. The color is also beautiful. It's great for antioxidant benefits, and I've been using it without any blemishes. Since I have extremely dry skin, I find myself needing to apply multiple layers of any product to combat dryness. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAug 27, 2020
I really liked the water-like texture, and the scent wasn't too strong for me. It absorbs well and was generally pleasant to use. I've been using it for about 1-2 months and I'm almost finished with the bottle. Since I haven't had any blemishes during this time, it seems to suit my skin well. I bought this when it was on a huge sale at Nunc, but I probably wouldn't purchase it at full price. There are so many affordable and good options available these days... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 25, 2020
I always trust and use Missha's Time Revolution line, so I bought this product as soon as it was released. It's a red, slightly viscous toner-type essence that absorbs well into the skin. I got the impression that it improved my skin texture. While I love the luxurious packaging of the Time Revolution line, it's actually quite heavy to use. Apart from that, it's a satisfying product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 24, 2020
It's a red essence in a red container with a slightly viscous texture! It contains red algae extract! The Hwahae Testers report: - Great hydration! When absorbed well, it leaves your skin pleasantly firm and moisturized! - Love the firming sensation! It helps improve skin texture! - No blemishes appeared, seems gentle on the skin! Hmm... I'm not sure if there are significant benefits considering the price. You might need to use it consistently to see other effects. It's a bit expensive, especially from a student's perspective. Try to snag it during a sale! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 2, 2020
I've been using this for over a month now, and I'm generally quite satisfied. It has a slightly reddish tint, and the texture isn't completely watery like Missha's Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence. Instead, it has a very slight viscosity. It feels silky smooth to the touch. When applied, it leaves the skin feeling moisturized and smooth, almost as if it's been lightly coated. If you found the original The First Treatment Essence absorbed too quickly and left your skin feeling dry, you might prefer the Red Algae Treatment. I have combination skin, and I use both The First and the Red Algae treatments effectively, each in its own way. While they're both treatment essences, they feel quite different. The Red Algae version feels a bit more nourishing. There are no concerning ingredients, so I intend to keep purchasing and using it in the future. So far, I haven't found anything particularly disappointing about this product.
