I used it despite having combination skin with dryness, blemishes, and very sensitive skin, and didn't have any major issues. The only thing was that the fixing effect was the only noticeable thing...It wasn't overly matte either. I had looked at a lot of reviews and heard the scent wasn't great, so I initially didn't buy it and used a different setting spray instead. But with the current situation, my makeup would just fly off as soon as I put it on, so I was really stressed and ended up buying this. I don't usually do detailed makeup, just a couple layers of cushion foundation, but with the mask, that wasn't enough to keep it in place. I tried the famous pink bottle one too, but it was completely useless for me...And the scent seems to be quite polarizing - I really disliked the strong baby powder scent, but the Urban Decay one was much better.
ConsThe scent is definitely an issue! It's not terribly pungent for me personally, but it would be better if I could hold my breath for a few seconds. I had read reviews about it smelling like camel sweat and being unbearable to use indoors, but it's not quite that bad. Scent < Makeup staying power is probably the priority here. And while it's better than the setting spray I was using before, makeup still doesn't stay on perfectly under a mask...But I guess there's a reason this is a popular product.
TipAs for the cushion, I first applied a thin layer, then went over the whole face including the eyebrows. After letting it dry, I used the puff to gently pat on the remaining product. Then I did the rest of my makeup and sprayed it again, letting it dry completely. I found that doing it in 2 layers like this gave the best effect, and really patting in the leftover product with the puff was key to making it effective.
