Color: A truly beautiful brick red. It's a shade that perfectly complements autumn warm skin tones. Application: Being a mousse formula, it applies smoothly and effortlessly! Packaging: Every time I look at Lilybyred's tint packaging, I find it so cute and adorable. Whoever designed it deserves an award... Scent: The fragrance was the least appealing among all the Lilybyred tints I've used so far. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be fig-scented or what, but it smells like a mix of spoiled yogurt and fruit... Anyway, it has a strange odor. If it weren't for the smell, this would have been a 5-star product. Such a shame... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 22, 2020
- This shade is absolutely perfect for warm-toned skin! It's become my holy grail lip color. - The mousse-like texture of this tint feels just right - not too heavy, not too light! - The scent is a bit off-putting, reminds me of spoiled yogurt. - I wish it had better staying power and left a more intense stain. - There's some transfer, which is a bit disappointing. - Try gently patting it on for a more natural, effortless look! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 8, 2020
The color is absolutely gorgeous! While it might be slightly different from the official website photos, it has its own unique charm. It's like a deep red with a hint of brown? When you dab it on, it looks stunning. The texture is moisturizing when applied, but sets to a velvety finish. If you blot with a tissue after application, there's minimal transfer. I wear masks often, and it's never stained them. The absorbs well is pretty good too! First off, the scent is a bit... off-putting. It's like an artificial grape gummy candy smell, which feels too synthetic. Also, while it applies fine on healthy lips initially, when you reapply later outdoors, it tends to emphasize dead skin cells and fine lines a bit. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 11, 2020
The color payoff is impressive and it stays on well, which I really appreciated. The scent is a bit overwhelming... It's like a mix of yogurt and chocolate. While you might get used to it over time, it's still a fragrance that can be off-putting. It's a versatile red shade that should suit most people! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 29, 2020
1. Gorgeous color! I first tried it on my friend and loved the shade so much I had to ask about it. For me, there wasn't even a hint of pink - it was just perfect. It's become my holy grail... I'm on my second one already! 2. The application is fantastic! Even without exfoliating, it goes on smoothly. But if you exfoliate first? Oh my goodness... it looks absolutely stunning, like something out of an Instagram ad. 3. So versatile! The color and overall look can vary depending on how you apply it - one layer or two, whether you blot it, what base you use, or even if you skip the base. It's gorgeous as a blush too. Such an amazing product! 4. It complements any makeup look flawlessly. I love how well it works with everything! 5. The packaging is totally my style. The matte finish and that satisfying 'click' when it closes - I found myself opening and closing it just for fun! 1. The scent... it's definitely a love-it-or-hate-it kind of smell. When I first bought it, I had to hold my breath while applying because it smelled like... unpleasant cough syrup? But you do get used to it. I even find myself sniffing the applicator now (yes, that's me!). 2. It's tricky to control how much product comes out. Too much comes out at once, so you need to remove some before applying. It feels wasteful to wipe it on a tissue, but putting it back in the container is messy and causes leakage. This aspect was a bit disappointing. 3. The product runs out too quickly! For application, try using BBIA's Last Velvet Lip Tint as a base, then apply this lightly on the inner part of your lips and gently pat to blend. The color is mind-blowing... it's frustratingly beautiful! This combo even had my older friend asking what I was wearing on my lips! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 12, 2020
This shade is absolutely perfect for warm skin tones! I first spotted it at Olive Young and impulsively bought it because it was so beautiful - no regrets at all. I'm honestly proud of myself for discovering this gem! The color is like an orange-brown, maybe brick? Trust me, when you see it in person, you'll be mesmerized and want to buy it instantly. The staying power is pretty decent too. The scent is really, really off-putting. It's like some kind of industrial smell...? When I'm feeling sensitive, it's almost nauseating. Also, the outer surface of the case peels off easily. I've been careful with mine so it's okay, but I noticed my friend's has peeled a lot around the edges. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinFeb 10, 2020
Suits warm skin tones effortlessly. The matte finish is beautifully flattering. The tint has an artificial scent... It's quite unpleasant if you smell it closely. I'm not usually sensitive to smells, but this one feels off. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 5, 2020
The color is beautiful! It applies with great pigmentation. And... that's about it for the positives. I'm not sure if it's just mine, but the smell is... really off-putting. When I first bought it, I wondered if it had expired. I asked my friends to smell it, and they had various reactions - from rotten pineapple to alcohol scent. Also, the staying power is way too short. Make sure to smell it before you buy! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinDec 28, 2019
This isn't the color I was looking for, and my friend accidentally bought it, but it matches my skin tone perfectly. If you have warm undertones, this product is really amazing! I've already gone through two tubes because the color is so beautiful, and the packaging is gorgeous too. When I take it to school, my friends always want to use it, so now I sneak it around secretly. The pigmentation is great, and it absorbs so well that I'm definitely planning to repurchase! The Lily by Red branding is absolutely stunning. There's no leakage either, which is fantastic. Since I received it as a birthday gift, it's a particularly meaningful tint for me. The downside is that when you first try to apply it, there's a strong scent like overripe figs? It's supposed to be fig-scented, but it smells intensely artificial. My friends around me also comment that it's not pleasant when I'm applying it. I'm not sure if it's just me, but the case chips a bit, and it tends to settle slightly into the corners of my lips. This product looks really beautiful when you do a gradient effect, and it's also pretty when used as a blush. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 19, 2019
I couldn't resist buying this product because the color was so beautiful, and it truly didn't disappoint. As someone with a warm complexion, it was absolutely perfect for me. The shade is like a dried rose - not overtly pink or orange, but just the right balance. It has a matte finish, but feels moisturizing on the inside while leaving a soft, powdery finish on the outside. The absorbs well, at least in my opinion. The staying power was surprisingly good too. Even after eating, it remained nicely in place, and I loved how it left a pretty stain on my lips. The issue is the scent... It might be because I have a sensitive nose, but as soon as you open it, there's a strong smell. How to describe it? In my opinion, it's somewhat like spoiled coconut or sour yogurt. The scent is quite potent. So I hold my breath when applying it! Also, and this might just be me, but it's a bit tricky to get the product out. I haven't used it much yet, so maybe it'll get easier with time...! I usually blot with a tissue after applying. The color still remains, and more importantly, it seems to reduce the scent a bit!
