The value is insane - the size is so generous that I feel almost embarrassed to call myself a regular customer due to the long purchase intervals. Usage: Lately, my sebum production has been high, making my nose bumpy by evening. When I lather it up and massage it in, my skin becomes smooth again. Since it lasts forever when used just on the face, I use it as a body wash too. Benefits of powder type: 1) Easier to portion out and carry compared to foam or oil types 2) Dissolves quickly in warm water, faster to lather than foam types (Note: be careful of clumping if you use a lot for body wash) 3) Clean recycling as the product doesn't stick to the container
ConsEvery time I repurchase, I feel relieved it's still available, but also worry if it's okay for them to sell it at such a low price
TipChoosing the formula: The granule type can feel a bit abrasive when rubbing to dissolve, while the fine powder type (pre-renewal) can be dusty when dispensing. Neither are major drawbacks, so choose based on your preference. Either way, buying two of these is still less than half the price of other powder washes - it's incredible value for money!

This Pyunkangyul cleanser is ultra-gentle. You can control its exfoliation and daily makeup removal power by adjusting how much water you add and how you lather it. After learning that powder washes are mainly corn starch-based cleansers, I tried this one, along with Isntree and a couple of Coupang brands. My conclusion? They're all pretty much the same. But this one? A whopping 200g for $27 (used to be $18, sigh). Highly recommend for those with sensitive skin or anyone wanting a thorough cleanse. I actually came to the Hwahae app just to recommend this. Already spread the word to everyone I know!
ConsWhy did the price go up? Wish they'd sell an even larger size for cheaper... Can't think of any downsides to powder washes except the price hike. For reference, here's a gentleness ranking of cleansing products: Powder wash (gentlest), cleansing gel (makeup removal varies by product), cleansing balm and oil (double cleansing required), cleansing water (can irritate when rubbed with cotton pads), cleansing foam (strips even necessary oils and moisture from skin).
TipTo use, pour a small amount of powder into your palm, add a bit of water, and work into a lather. Then gently massage the foam onto your face in circular motions.
