I tried it because I heard the ingredients were good, and it seems to remove most makeup effectively. Plus, wow, the foam is really rich and produces a ton of lather!
ConsWell... I suppose the ingredients are good? But after cleansing, my skin feels tight and uncomfortable. It's really drying... ugh.
TipUse just a small amount! The foam can be difficult to rinse off completely.

It's gentle on the skin and has decent cleansing effectiveness.
ConsThe scent is reminiscent of herbal medicine... After cleansing, my skin feels ever so slightly dry.
TipWhile the cleansing effectiveness isn't bad, I feel more reassured when I double cleanse.

ConsI thought this was supposed to be a moisturizing product, but it might not suit me. It lathers up more than expected, leaving my skin feeling dry right after washing.

Using this rich foam for washing made the process feel much gentler on my skin.
ConsThe natural herbal scent was a bit disappointing. Also, I experienced some deep dryness after cleansing.

As someone with sensitive skin that tends to get red and break out when products don't agree with me, I was pleased that I didn't experience any of those issues. + It contains stearic acid, which can clog pores, but apparently when used in cleansing foams (unlike emulsions), it doesn't affect the pores. So no need to worry about that! ✓ Scent At first, I thought it had a slight herbal scent, but it's actually almost fragrance-free. This should be great for those sensitive to fragrances. ✓ Reliable cleansing foam This could be seen as a drawback, but... it's just really dependable. It simply does what a cleansing foam should do. The cleansing effectiveness is decent too. (Please check the drawbacks section for more info)
Cons✗ Too basic As I mentioned earlier, it's really just... basic. It doesn't have any standout features like being super hydrating or anything special. I've been using it daily for about two weeks, and I haven't noticed any improvements or deterioration in my skin. There are better products available at a similar price point, so if I were spending my own money, I probably wouldn't choose this one. That's why I can't really recommend it. ✗ Dryness I have combination dehydrated skin with a mind of its own, and I experienced some tightness in my cheek and chin areas. It does get better once you apply your skincare right after, though.
TipRecommended for those with oily skin!

First, let me tell you about my skin type: I have combination dehydrated skin prone to small blemishes. My skin is also thin and super sensitive, so if a product doesn't suit me, I break out like crazy. My T-zone is an oil slick, while my U-zone is parched. ✔️ Packaging: The container is Happy Bath's standard squeeze tube. The opening isn't too small, so the product comes out easily. The hole is a bit on the larger side, so a gentle squeeze is enough for one use. If you apply too much pressure, you might end up with more than you need. Just be mindful of how hard you squeeze! ✔️ Texture: It has a rich, creamy texture. What's great is that even a small amount produces a lot of foam, making it very efficient to use. The foam is also nice and dense, which I love. ✔️ Scent: The fragrance isn't overpowering, so I don't think it'll be polarizing. It's a subtle scent. ✔️ Application: When you massage it in with its dense foam, the cleansing effectiveness is great. I used it as the final step in my double cleanse routine, and it lathers well and cleanses thoroughly. However, it does leave the skin feeling quite squeaky clean, which might feel a bit drying for some.
ConsThe fact that it's not a low pH cleanser! These days, many people are looking for low pH products, so that's a bit of a downside. Also, the finish is too squeaky clean! This might leave your skin feeling a bit dry.
TipPro tip: Use just a tiny amount, add small drops of water as you go, and really work up a lather. Don't rub the foam directly on your skin, instead use the foam to massage your face gently, as if you're using a pore brush, being very thorough. Then rinse thoroughly with water! Immediately follow up with toner or mist right away. Be kind to your skin. Overall, it's a generous amount, has a nice texture, and is pleasant to use. I like it!

Squeaky clean after washing: You can really feel the impurities being washed away! Your complexion brightens up and feels squeaky clean. Great value: The price is so affordable, making it ideal for students! Scent & Design: The fragrance is absolutely delightful. It instantly lifts your mood while cleansing. The product design is also pleasingly minimalist.
ConsLimited cleansing power: Since it's not specifically designed as a makeup remover, it struggles a bit to completely remove makeup. For best results, use a cleansing oil or wipe to dissolve makeup first, then follow up with this cleanser! Slight dryness: Like most cleansing foams, it can leave your skin feeling a tad dry after use. Be sure to follow up with your toner, emulsion, and essence routine!
TipUsing a foam net creates an even richer, fluffier lather for an enhanced cleansing experience!

My skin is combination dehydrated, feeling extremely tight after cleansing due to severe lack of hydration. I have many small blemishes, and while larger ones have reduced with skincare, I still have about 4 persistent ones. My skin is acne-prone and super sensitive. Ingredients: 10-free+ Centella Asiatica and Squalane Living with acne makes you scrutinize product ingredients. This doesn't contain PEG surfactants or other concerning ingredients! It's free from animal-derived ingredients, artificial fragrances, and silicone oils - great for both skin and environment! Glycerin, known for its moisturizing properties, is the second ingredient, followed by squalane which helps prevent moisture loss. Various oils and fruit extracts are included in moderation towards the end of the list, making the overall ingredient profile excellent. While Centella works well for me, those with a Centella allergy should be cautious. (Note: If you have super sensitive skin, natural oils and orange peel extract might not suit you, so I recommend patch testing first) Scent The fragrance isn't strong. My sister, who doesn't pay attention to scents, asked, 'Isn't it unscented?' But she's not very perceptive! It has a herbal or pine-like scent. I don't think it's a polarizing fragrance. Products with this kind of scent often use 'fragrance' which can mislead people about the quality of ingredients. I personally prefer unscented products, but this one has no artificial fragrances. The natural herbal scent makes me feel like I'm in a forest every time I use it! Cleansing Effectiveness and Lather It seems to have excellent foam boosters, viscosity agents, and thickeners. A small amount creates a good lather with nice elasticity. Using a foam net creates an ideal, rich foam that gives a squeaky clean feeling during washing. This also means less residue is left after rinsing.
ConsHydration Although glycerin is the second ingredient, the next 10 or so ingredients are all cleansing agents and surfactants. Even with squalane included, my skin feels very tight. Those with combination dehydrated or dry skin should note this and apply a moisturizer immediately after cleansing, keeping it in the bathroom. It's challenging for a product with high cleansing power to also provide high hydration, so this could be a pro or con depending on your skin type. For my skin, it was drying, so this is a very subjective review...
TipHighly recommended for those with oily skin! The ingredients and cleansing effectiveness are great, thoroughly removing skin impurities. After cleansing, there's no stickiness or residue left on the skin.

I usually only wear base makeup, but I like to double cleanse - first with an oil cleanser, then with a foam cleanser for a refreshing finish. I used this product in the same way. - First, what I liked was how rich and creamy the foam is. This allows it to spread evenly over the face, giving a thorough cleansing sensation. Also, a little goes a long way in creating a good lather, so one tube should last quite a while. I've tried other Happy Bath cleansing foams before, but this one lathers up the best. (Just a note: it's easy to squeeze out too much, so you'll need to control the amount carefully. I didn't list this as a con since you get used to it quickly.) - The scent is somewhere between intense herbal and medicinal. I personally prefer herbal scents, so I count this as a plus. It dissipates quickly after rinsing and feels more natural and pleasant than artificial fragrances. I'd recommend this to those who don't mind scents or particularly enjoy this type of aroma. - Looking at the ingredients, this seems to be the best product Happy Bath has released so far. While the absence of controversial ingredients isn't the only factor in determining a good product, it's great to see a formula with both good ingredients and effective performance. It's a positive development. What really surprised me was how refreshingly clean my skin felt after washing (as if all oil and moisture had been removed), yet it didn't feel dry at all. While other low pH foam cleansers often leave a slight slip to maintain hydration, this product cleanses thoroughly without that slippery feeling, yet somehow doesn't leave my skin feeling tight.
Cons- As mentioned earlier, I was amazed at how my skin didn't feel tight right after cleansing. However, the issue arose after applying essence and emulsion. While sitting after my skincare routine, I was shocked by how tight my face felt deep down. The oily T-zone was fine, but my cheeks felt painful. It was quite a shock to experience this sensation after applying emulsion - a first for me. The next day, I applied more essence than usual after using this product, which helped reduce the tightness a bit. This cleanser might be better suited for those with oily skin rather than dry skin types. - Either due to excessive moisture loss causing skin irritation or an ingredient that didn't agree with me, I developed blemishes on my cheeks near my nose and on the sides of my nose (the painful kind when pressed). Later, I even got a few small blemishes on my forehead. Since I hadn't had any blemishes on my cheeks for over a year, it's highly likely this product was the cause. To confirm, I stopped using the product for a day, and the blemishes started to subside.
