  Pros

  True to its name, this lipstick has a velvety finish. The color lasts quite well, giving a natural look. It's a great value when you catch it on sale!

  Cons

  It tends to accentuate dead skin cells, even if there's just a tiny bit. While that's a bit disappointing, the price-to-quality ratio is decent enough to keep using it. When applied, the color turns much pinker than it appears in photos.

  Pros

  The color payoff is excellent, and it applies so smoothly and softly. The shade is a wearable coral-pink that's perfect for everyday use, making it very approachable. The scent is quite strong but delightfully sweet.

  Cons

  I can't really think of any drawbacks. However, if you apply it as a full lip color, it might look a bit heavy.

  Tip

  Try gradient application or blotting with a tissue for a more natural look.
