My first impression was that it's small! While I didn't purchase it myself, the size seems a bit modest for the price. 2. As soon as you apply it, there's a sweet strawberry candy scent, and it gives a light pink tint. It feels more like a lip care product rather than something you'd use for color. 3. The hydration is top-notch! If you slather it on generously before bed, your lips feel as soft as if you've done a sleeping pack by morning (my lips usually dry out by morning no matter what I use). For makeup, apply a thin layer to start, then gently wipe off a bit before applying lipstick (otherwise it might dilute the color). It goes on smoothly and keeps lips from drying out for hours. 4. The packaging is great. The plastic opening feels nice when cleaning or applying to your lips. 5. Compared to Aritaum's Ginger Sugar Lip Mask, this one is much lighter. While Aritaum's feels thick and seems to plump up dead skin cells by morning, this lip balm absorbs completely like a moisturizer. 6. After about a month of use, my lips are much less dry. Before, when I used matte tints, they'd look messy after a few hours due to dryness. Now I can apply them with less worry (though I still make sure to use this lip balm in between).
ConsThe downside is the price-to-volume ratio. You don't use a lot at once, but with only 10g, it might feel a bit pricey to buy directly. Still, I'd probably repurchase it! Also, the packaging might be too simple? This might not be a con for others, but personally, I wish it had some additional design elements.
TipI found it works best to apply a layer 30 minutes before bed, and then another layer right before sleeping!

Color I didn't expect much color from a lip balm, but when I squeezed it out, I noticed it had a light pink tint. However, once applied to the lips, it goes on clear. It has color in the tube, but becomes transparent on the lips. 2. Hydration It's surprisingly good at moisturizing. When you first apply it, it smooths out dead skin cells, giving your lips a literal 'glow-up' with a shiny finish. This intense shine doesn't last forever though - it starts off very glossy but settles into a more natural look after a while. While its lasting power isn't the strongest, I'm impressed by how it performs overnight. I usually wake up with lots of flaky skin if I don't apply lip balm, but with this, I can go from morning to afternoon without reapplying and still have smooth lips. That's what I love most about it! It works great as a sleeping mask too! 3. Packaging Unlike Vaseline-style pots where you have to dip your fingers in, this comes in a squeeze tube with an applicator. I love this because it's so much more hygienic - no need to get product on your hands! 4. Scent I'm not usually sensitive to fragrances, so I barely noticed it had a scent. But when I let my friend try it (who's very sensitive to smells), she commented on how nice it smelled. Apparently, it has a rose scent. Even my fragrance-sensitive friend liked it!
Cons1. Lasting Hydration While it moisturizes well initially, I noticed my lips starting to feel a bit dry again after about 2 hours. You need to reapply it fairly often. Also, the glossy effect doesn't last very long. 2. Stickiness It's a bit sticky. As someone new to glossy products, at first I felt like I'd just eaten something greasy and it had smeared all over my lips! But once you get used to it, you start to see it as a nice glow. 3. Amount Control If you apply too much, it feels very sticky and heavy. You need to be careful with the amount - just a tiny bit squeezed onto the applicator for both upper and lower lips is enough. Spread it out well, and you'll get the right amount. It's important to control how much you use!
TipI don't usually wear matte lip products, but I found that applying this over other lip products prevents dead skin from showing and looks great! However, I don't like applying lip products over this as they tend to get sticky. For reference, I usually wear water tints! Feel free to ask any questions!

I've switched from my usual lip balm to Laneige's. The scent is amazing, and it's so moisturizing that I love applying it frequently. I find it perfect to use over lip tint - it leaves my lips incredibly hydrated. It has a very subtle pink tint, and the amount you get is quite generous. Recently, my lips have been prone to dead skin cells and cracking, but after using this, those issues have disappeared. I'll definitely keep using this regularly!
ConsWell, the only slight inconvenience I can think of is that it's in a tube format, which can be a bit fiddly to use.

This product has a subtle pink hue that I really like. - Hydration: When I apply it before bed, the moisturizing effect lasts until the next morning. It's great that I don't need to reapply frequently. Unlike some lip balms that can over-hydrate and make lips sensitive, this one doesn't cause any irritation or excess dead skin cells. It keeps my lips soft without any issues, making it my favorite lip balm! - Texture: I was worried that the gloss-type formula might make my hair stick to my lips, but I didn't experience any such discomfort at all!
ConsI love both the design and the color. There's nothing I would change about it!

The product comes in a pink tube case containing 10g. It has a delightful juicy strawberry scent. The color is very subtle with a pink tint. The moisturizing power is impressive, and it doesn't feel sticky at all. When applied over a lip tint, it creates a gorgeous glossy lip look.
ConsWhen I applied it to my bare lips, instead of turning red, they actually darkened. I've noticed this happens with lip balm tints containing Red 202. I used it over Peripera's Airy Velvet 'Mimo Working Hard' tint, and the combination made my lips feel slippery. While the color didn't transfer initially, now it's getting all over my teeth. Photo 1 shows the case, photo 2 the open lid, photo 3 my bare lips, photo 4 the balm applied to bare lips, and photo 5 shows it over the Airy Velvet tint. For photo 4, I used a filter to match the color as closely as possible, so it doesn't capture how it darkens on my lips. Please consider that image as how it might look on average lips.

I usually apply lip balm before tint or lipstick, and I prefer my balm to be colorless at night. This one is great because it's transparent. Scent: The fragrance is subtly sweet with a strawberry note, which I love! Adherence: The one I used before would easily wipe off and had poor staying power, but this one surprisingly holds up well! Longevity: Similar to adherence, it doesn't feel like it's wiping off, but rather absorbing into the lips! The staying power is satisfactory. Hydration: After applying this, I noticed that the unsightly dead skin cells on my lips calmed down. As a matte beauty junkie, I love that when I apply this, wait a bit, blot slightly, and then apply lip color, there's no emphasis on flaky skin. It's great to apply before bed too. Hygiene: The tube packaging allows for hygienic application! Photo: As you can see in the photo, my lip color has a slight boost of vitality! The side with the balm looks plumper! And I didn't even overline! This has solved my thin lip complex. I love the volume it gives! As shown in the photo, it's very moisturizing.
ConsIngredients: The ingredients are quite fantastic. I didn't have any issues with my lips, but... Price vs. Quantity: Honestly, as a student, it was a bit pricey for me. I wish they would either increase the quantity or reduce the price, but I think they focused on product quality.
