The good thing is that when you apply this, the real lip flakes disappear, so I really liked it. The color also went in a little bit, which was good, and the amount is a lot. Pros
I'm not a big fan of artificial grapefruit scents, but this one has a subtle fragrance that doesn't feel overbearing and keeps my lips nicely moisturized.

I can't really think of any major downsides, but if I had to nitpick, it might be a bit on the sticky side? Though I suppose most lip balms have a certain level of tackiness to them.

It was great that it was so moisturizing and long-lasting. I used it together with the lip sleeping mask, and the scent was even more intense than the sleeping mask, which I liked.

I'd like to recommend this lip balm to those who need an ultra-moisturizing lip balm, as their lips get flaky in the summer and crack easily even just from smiling in the winter! I've tried many famous products, but the one that worked best for me was The Face Shop's Shea Butter Lip Balm (tube type), so I'll compare the two. ★Moisturizing Power: The Face Shop < Laneige Personally, I think Laneige is better. The Face Shop gave a more temporary effect, while Laneige lasted longer. Also, The Face Shop felt like it was removing the flakiness, while Laneige was more like calming down the flakiness. Plumping: The Face Shop < Laneige This is a personal preference, but while it didn't have the same plumping effect as the famous Duwop lip plumper, the Laneige lip balm did make my lips look more hydrated and gave a slight tint, so there was a plumping effect. Since I have a lot of lip lines, I was surprised and pleased to see my lines look less noticeable when I applied it. Color & Scent: The Face Shop ± Laneige These are personal preferences, so I can't say one is definitively better. I received and used this product from the Hwahae Trial Reviewer. First of all, I really liked the clean and minimalist design. It's a lip gloss, but it also functions as a lip balm, so it's very convenient. Lip glosses can often feel sticky, but this product doesn't feel sticky at all while still providing lip protection. I like to apply a water tint and then lightly dab this on top with my finger, which makes the whole process simple and nice.

This is my first review as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer! I'll try to review it as thoroughly and truthfully as possible. 1. Color I wasn't expecting much color from a lip balm, but when I applied it, it had a light pink color. So I thought, "Oh, this is a colored lip balm," but when I put it on my lips, it went on transparently. The color is there, but it disappears when applied to the lips. 2. Moisturizing The moisturizing is surprisingly good. When you first apply it, it soothes the flaky skin and makes your lips look incredibly glossy and shiny. But it doesn't stay that way forever - after a while, it becomes more natural-looking. And while the longevity is not that strong, I have really dry, flaky lips, and I found that even when I didn't reapply the lip balm throughout the day, my lips didn't get flaky. This is the best part for me! It also works great as an overnight lip mask. 3. Packaging Instead of the tub-like packaging of Vaseline, this one has a squeeze tube with an applicator, which I really like. It's so much more hygienic and you don't get it all over your fingers. 4. Fragrance I'm not very sensitive to fragrances, so I didn't even notice it had a scent. But my friend, who is very sensitive to smells, tried it and said it has a nice rose fragrance. She really liked the scent, which says a lot since she's so picky about fragrances.

This is a review from the Hwahae Trial Reviewer~ To start with, it's so moisturizing that you can use it in the evening and then scrub off the dead skin cells while washing your face in the morning!! However, it still feels a bit lacking, so I would recommend using it more in the morning than in the evening. As others have mentioned, when applied over matte lipstick, it creates a beautiful glossy look, so it's great to use if your lips get chapped in the winter. And the texture isn't slippery, but has a slightly sticky feel - if you don't like that kind of sensation, you might want to consider it carefully!
