Absorption: 4/5 stars Hydration power: 5/5 stars Moisturizing: 3/5 stars Texture: It has a bouncy consistency, almost like a runny gel. One full dropper is enough to cover your entire face. It seems to absorb well. About an hour after application, my face looked a bit dry, as if the skin had completely soaked up all the moisture from the essence. There was just a slight softness left, but it still looked dry. Horizontal and vertical wrinkles were still quite visible. (Usually, when you apply an emulsion, it temporarily fills in the wrinkles, making them less noticeable, right?) There was no oily feeling. Recommended skin type: Suitable even for those with oily skin. I have very dehydrated oily skin. However, this doesn't give me the feeling of locking in moisture for long. Recommended usage: Apply one full dropper, let it absorb, then apply a second full dropper. Even with this method, it doesn't look overly oily. The essence seems to be absorbed well by the skin. No major drawbacks. It's quite decent! I just wish it provided longer-lasting hydration. Oh, and one more thing... Even after letting it dry, if you apply sunscreen or foundation over it, it tends to pill.

It seems to be solely focused on hydration and while it has a very bouncy texture, I didn't notice any significant effects beyond that. On its own, it's very gentle! However, when I mixed it with this brand's vitamin serum, my skin reacted badly, almost like a burn. After that experience, I had to say goodbye to this product.
