For those looking for a product with excellent cleansing effectiveness and a fresh finish, this might be perfect for you! The cleansing power is so strong it can remove mascara and eyeliner in one go. From the first roll, it feels like a light oil, making it comfortable to use. After rinsing, the skin feels refreshingly clean, which I absolutely love. There seems to be a slight irritation. As someone who doesn't use eye makeup remover, directly cleansing the eye area with this oil caused a bit of tingling sensation. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinMay 26, 2025
As someone with combination dehydrated skin that's sensitive and prone to redness, I've always found cleansing oils to be the most effective for makeup removal. However, they often require longer rinsing times, which isn't ideal. That's why I was intrigued by the consistent positive reviews for the Numbuzin Cleansing Oil and decided to give it a try when it went on sale. This product definitely has some distinct pros and cons. The positives? Its cleansing power is impressive. It effortlessly removes heavy makeup, including stubborn mascara and eyeliner, in one go. You can actually see your foundation melting away. The lightweight texture allows for easy massage without irritation. Plus, it offers skin care benefits - it's particularly effective at clearing out blackheads and unclogging pores, which helps reduce excess sebum over time. Now for the downside - the rinsing process. Of all the cleansing oils I've used, this one takes the longest to wash off completely. Even after multiple rinses, there's still an oily residue that lingers. Sometimes I can even feel a slight slickness after my second cleanse, which isn't the most pleasant sensation. Because of this, I find myself reaching for it only when I'm wearing heavier makeup. Despite its clear advantages, the tedious rinsing process is a major drawback for someone like me who prefers a quick and easy routine. To sum up: Recommended for: Combination dehydrated to dry skin types who wear heavy makeup regularly and want to address blackheads, enlarged pores, and excess oil production. Not recommended for: Very oily or acne-prone skin, or those with super sensitive skin. While the ingredients are gentle, the prolonged cleansing process might not be ideal for these skin types. I'd suggest cleansing waters, milks, or balms instead for sensitive skin. Also not ideal for those who only wear sunscreen or light base makeup. Lastly, if you're looking for a fuss-free cleansing routine, you might want to explore other options. As mentioned in the review above, there's a noticeable oily residue left behind. I wouldn't recommend this for those who typically wear light makeup. It's definitely effective as a deep cleansing product and helps manage excess oil and blackheads. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 20, 2025
✅Positive Aspects✅ I've been using the product for about a year. The cleansing power is good, and it is extremely non-oily! If you just remove eye makeup, it seems like it can be used for all skin types 😊 It was regrettable that the product was too irritating when it got into the eyes. Compared to other cleansing oils, it was difficult to remove the remaining oil. As someone with sensitive dry skin, I remember that cleansing all the way up to the nose area caused some issues on the nose. However, if you are able to thoroughly cleanse the remaining oil, it could be a good product to use. I recommend cleansing only the eye area! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinMay 7, 2025
It's pretty decent! It does an excellent job of cleansing blackheads on the nose!! I'd recommend giving it a try if blackheads are a concern for you. The product is okay, but I sometimes notice small, millet-like blemishes popping up that can be easily burst with a fingernail... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 2, 2025
This cleansing oil is a must-have! I've emptied at least five bottles besides the one in the photo. In my personal opinion, it's lighter in texture and easier to roll than A-True, Witch's Pouch, or Hanskin. It's as gentle as Dr.G's oil but somehow leaves a cleaner, more refreshing finish that I love. I settled on this for a while! Its cleansing power is excellent, removing even mascara completely. While it doesn't necessarily dissolve blackheads on the nose, after rolling, if you gently wipe the surface with a towel, blackheads come out smoothly - it's amazing! When rolling, you can feel little bumps, which gives the impression that sebum is being drawn out. It's great! My mom always repurchases this oil too. It's light, cleanses well, and doesn't cause blemishes, so it's a trusted product. Make sure to stock up when it's on sale! It rarely happens, but once the pump broke. It was just that one time, but when the pump didn't work, I had to pour it into my hands, which was troublesome. The oil was dripping all over my hands - what a mess! After rolling and emulsifying around the nose area, then removing moisture, you'll often see whiteheads and blackheads peeking out. If you gently scrape the surface with a towel, the sebum comes right out of the pores. It's so satisfying! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 27, 2025
The cleansing effectiveness is excellent, so even using just this oil alone removes makeup thoroughly There's nothing particularly disappointing about it, which is why I've repurchased it multiple times and continue to use it - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 5, 2025
I like that it comes in a generous size, and in the case of sunscreen, it washes off easily The oil pump dispenser seems to break down quite easily - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinApr 1, 2025
Review after using up the whole bottle! 100% will repurchase. It's lighter than other cleansing oils and emulsifies incredibly well! I finish my makeup removal with just this one product. The cleansing effectiveness is so good that you don't even need a second cleanse! The price point is a tad high without discounts, so I tend to stock up when it's on sale. I emulsify twice! I like to be thorough with the emulsification process for a more effective first cleanse. - Hwahae UserOily SkinMar 25, 2025
It has a lightweight, water-like texture and excellent cleansing effectiveness. I've seen positive results with blackheads too. If you've had success with Illiyoon or A-True cleansing oils, you'll likely find this one suitable as well. For those with oily skin, there might be a slight residue, so make sure to follow up with a second cleanse. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinMar 10, 2025
Due to wearing face masks for COVID, my T-zone pores have become more prone to sebum buildup and enlargement over the past few years. I've tried various treatments, but this product offers daily cleansing and sebum control in one. Among oils, its fluid texture emulsifies well and effectively removes blackheads, allowing for both cleansing and sebum management simultaneously. There's not much to criticize about this excellent product. Just note that since it's not a heavy oil, it can run down your wrist if you're not careful. But that's not a big deal! When you use lukewarm or slightly warm hands or oil to massage the T-zone, those stubborn sebum plugs come right out. However, don't overdo the cleansing in an attempt to remove everything at once. Stick to a reasonable time limit, and you'll be able to manage sebum with minimal irritation!
