I've been using this concealer for years now. It applies smoothly, blends well, and provides great coverage. Usually, concealers tend to cause some blemishes, but this one hardly causes any issues. The color range is a bit off. Even the 'Bright' shade seems somewhat dark. There's definitely a noticeable darkening effect. After finishing your skincare routine and before applying foundation, use this concealer to cover any problem areas. This method significantly improves both adherence and coverage. However, be aware that if you apply it over foundation, it tends to pill. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 1, 2024
It really covers dark circles well and I've never experienced any blemishes from it. While it wasn't easy to control the amount, even when I applied a lot, it didn't settle into fine lines too badly. There was some slight darkening after a while. Also, it was difficult to apply, making it challenging to use with a brush before work. I had to use my fingers instead. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 29, 2023
I've been using this for years on my oily skin without any blemishes. It's great for a foundation-free look, and when applied lightly, it covers imperfections well. You'll need to keep in mind the longevity and slightly ashy tone. It seems to cover acne a bit less effectively. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 12, 2023
My skin type: Combination dehydrated skin (enlarged pores, blackheads, uneven texture, slight redness) Super sensitive skin (extremely delicate) 1. No blemishes I've tried L* and Medi-C* concealers, but they caused breakouts so I tossed them. This one doesn't cause any blemishes at all. My skin feels comfortable when applied. 2. Absorbs well The texture is neither too runny nor too thick. It's moisturizing and absorbs nicely. No oily feeling. Perfect for combination dehydrated skin. 3. Coverage Good coverage and the best part is >>it doesn't settle into pores at all<< This is truly its greatest advantage. It covers redness too. Doesn't crease in wrinkles. No darkening. No patchiness. Doesn't accentuate texture. Covers dark circles well (best I've used so far). This is seriously a holy grail product!!! I can go out with just this concealer on areas with redness over bare skin. It's possible to fake having naturally good skin. I can't imagine if I hadn't bought this.. It's a masterpiece, the creator deserves an award. There's absolutely nothing bad to say. I'm struggling to find 20 characters worth of cons. I just apply it with my fingers. I haven't tried other tools so I'm not sure how it performs with them, but it applies beautifully even when using just my hands. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 9, 2023
First off, the coverage is quite good! It effectively conceals large spots like scars, marks, and dark circles without any fuss. I'm already on my second tube of this product! What's great is that it doesn't cause any additional blemishes, making it really comfortable and pleasant to use. Often, when covering imperfections, products can look dry and cakey, but this one applies with a nice moisturizing feel and absorbs well. It seems to set as it dries, so you can just blend it out and leave it be for a long-lasting finish. For me, the shade was a bit disappointing. It's slightly dark for my complexion, so I don't use it alone. Instead, I apply it and then follow up with my regular skin makeup. This works fine, and the darker shade actually helps with coverage in some areas. Oh, and using a brush might allow for even more precise coverage! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinNov 24, 2022
I've been using this product for 7 years now. It's my go-to that keeps my skin blemish-free and takes full responsibility for my complexion. In this era of mask-wearing, it does transfer a bit, which is a slight drawback. However, since I touch up occasionally, it's not really an issue at all. Some might find it matte, but if you layer on plenty of hydration in your skincare routine before applying, you won't even notice the matte finish. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 19, 2022
It applies smoothly without clumping and didn't cause any blemishes. However, it's only suitable for covering blemishes and doesn't work effectively for dark circles. Although it's labeled as 'bright', it has a reddish, dark tone that works well for concealing blemishes. Use it only on specific areas! When used to cover dark circles, it seems to work well at first, but the coverage quickly fades. If you spread it over a larger area, it doesn't provide good coverage. If your base isn't well-moisturized, it can slightly pill. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 12, 2022
While it does contain some ingredients to be cautious about, I haven't experienced any particular blemishes from this concealer, even with my super sensitive and very oily skin. I've been using the Bright and Light shades on and off for about two years. It provides excellent coverage as desired. My skin is generally quite red - not as much as my lip color, but enough to be considered 'really red'. I apply about a quarter of my pinky nail's worth, along with sunscreen. It layers well, allowing for multiple applications without caking. I was wondering what people meant by severe darkening. When I squeeze some onto the back of my hand and start applying it to my left cheek, by the time I get to my right cheek, the concealer on my hand has already started to oxidize and change color. However, this color change isn't noticeable once it's applied to the skin. To minimize any dull or yellowish appearance, try applying it with a white-tinted base. Also, start with a tiny amount and build up coverage as needed - a little goes a long way! You'll be surprised how well it covers even with minimal product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 11, 2021
1. Ingredients I have some blemishes on my forehead and sensitive skin, but after using this concealer, I didn't experience any worsening of blemishes or increased redness. Even when I first bought it and started using makeup daily, it didn't cause any skin issues. 2. Matte finish This seems to be a plus for oily skin types. I have combination dehydrated skin, and this isn't a moisturizing type but rather a bit thick, so it didn't cause as much oil production as moisturizing products do. 3. Longevity It lasts well. There is some fading, but it's more of a natural fade rather than completely breaking down. 4. No eye irritation I applied this around my eyes and experienced no irritation or itching at all. Note: This concealer works well for my skin, but I recommend considering your own needs before purchasing, as everyone's skin type is different. 1. Emphasizes dead skin cells When setting with powder, it does emphasize dead skin cells in certain areas, especially around healing blemishes. While it's not severe, it was a bit disappointing. 2. Darkening While my dark circles aren't severe, this concealer initially covers them, but later on, it tends to darken. This is a real drawback. If you have severe dark circles, you might want to use a different concealer for that area. I don't use foundation or cushion separately. Instead, I mix this concealer with sunscreen and brightening moisturizer to create my own foundation. I avoid using cushions as they can be harsh on the skin, and I don't really use regular foundations either. As a student, I prefer a lighter makeup look. I use Dr.G sunscreen and Innisfree Jeju Cherry Blossom Tone-Up Cream. I mix the Dr.G sunscreen in summer and the Cherry Blossom cream (which is more moisturizing) in winter. Personally, I think these sunscreen and tone-up cream are the best. As someone who pays a lot of attention to ingredients, I found these two products to be really good. Note: This works exceptionally well for my skin, but results may vary for others. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 25, 2021
Honestly, everything about this concealer is great except for the shade... The application is smooth, it creates a flawless finish, and even a thin layer provides excellent coverage. For a concealer, the ingredients are quite good, so I didn't experience any blemishes. When I don't feel like applying foundation, I can just use this over sunscreen, and it gives me a natural, skin-like finish without looking heavy. The shade range is really disappointing... Even the lightest shade, 'Bright', looks dark on the skin where it's applied. So I always have to mix it with a lighter concealer from another brand, which is frustrating. Most reviews mention this issue, so I don't understand why they haven't improved it yet. If they could just fix the dark shades, this could be a holy grail concealer.
