1. Ingredients I have some blemishes on my forehead and sensitive skin, but after using this concealer, I didn't experience any worsening of blemishes or increased redness. Even when I first bought it and started using makeup daily, it didn't cause any skin issues. 2. Matte finish This seems to be a plus for oily skin types. I have combination dehydrated skin, and this isn't a moisturizing type but rather a bit thick, so it didn't cause as much oil production as moisturizing products do. 3. Longevity It lasts well. There is some fading, but it's more of a natural fade rather than completely breaking down. 4. No eye irritation I applied this around my eyes and experienced no irritation or itching at all. Note: This concealer works well for my skin, but I recommend considering your own needs before purchasing, as everyone's skin type is different. 1. Emphasizes dead skin cells When setting with powder, it does emphasize dead skin cells in certain areas, especially around healing blemishes. While it's not severe, it was a bit disappointing. 2. Darkening While my dark circles aren't severe, this concealer initially covers them, but later on, it tends to darken. This is a real drawback. If you have severe dark circles, you might want to use a different concealer for that area. I don't use foundation or cushion separately. Instead, I mix this concealer with sunscreen and brightening moisturizer to create my own foundation. I avoid using cushions as they can be harsh on the skin, and I don't really use regular foundations either. As a student, I prefer a lighter makeup look. I use Dr.G sunscreen and Innisfree Jeju Cherry Blossom Tone-Up Cream. I mix the Dr.G sunscreen in summer and the Cherry Blossom cream (which is more moisturizing) in winter. Personally, I think these sunscreen and tone-up cream are the best. As someone who pays a lot of attention to ingredients, I found these two products to be really good. Note: This works exceptionally well for my skin, but results may vary for others. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 13, 2020
Oh my goodness, I think this is absolutely amazing! After some time, it seems to slightly emphasize dead skin cells... well, that's how it is. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 16, 2020
As someone with acne-prone skin, I can confidently say this foundation excels at covering blemishes! The staying power is also quite decent. The thick consistency tends to accentuate dead skin cells. Despite being shade 21, it appears quite dark on the skin... There's also a bit of oxidation happening. Mixing it with a brighter and more hydrating foundation made it work so much better! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 5, 2020
As someone with redness, acne scars, and combination dehydrated skin, I always need to cover up when going out. I tried this concealer and found it covers quite well with good staying power! The only downside is that when I apply a bit too much, it can sometimes emphasize dead skin cells. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinApr 26, 2020
This concealer is surprisingly moisturizing! Usually, concealers tend to be matte, but this product has a creamier texture that absorbs well. The tube packaging is also hygienic. Unfortunately, it tends to darken quite a bit over time. After a while, it seems to emphasize dead skin cells. The color isn't particularly brightening to begin with and has a slightly grayish undertone. The coverage is about medium. For a thinner application, try using a brush to apply it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 19, 2020
It definitely covers dark circles better than even NARS or Luna concealers that I've tried before. I probably won't repurchase this once I finish my current one. Despite being labeled as a bright color, it looked dark on my skin. While it didn't oxidize too badly, the shade seemed off from the start, as if it had already darkened. It also slightly emphasizes texture and has a bit of pilling. For those with deeper skin tones, I found that layering The Saem Snow concealer on top not only boosts coverage but also helps neutralize the darker tone of this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 31, 2020
I decided to purchase this product after noticing that its ingredients seemed better compared to other options. The coverage is not great, and after a while, the color darkens and sets quickly, so you need to blend it fast when applying to your face. Even though I got the lightest shade, it's still too dark for me, making the applied areas stand out noticeably. If your complexion is lighter than shade 21, you should definitely check the color carefully. Also, considering the amount and performance, it seems a bit pricey to buy at full price. It might be worth buying during a sale, but make sure to check the color match carefully. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 23, 2019
I absolutely loved it! I'll definitely repurchase. The coverage is excellent. The only downside is that it tends to emphasize dead skin cells. I wish it was a bit more hydrating. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinApr 19, 2019
It provides good coverage and feels powdery, which would be great for oily skin In winter, it might accentuate dead skin cells a bit. Use it together with a hydrating moisturizer Use in combination with a hydrating moisturizer - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinJan 6, 2019
Coverage is top-notch! Hands down the best base product I've ever used. It has great staying power, and just a tiny squeeze covers most blemishes. For dry skin, it might slightly emphasize dead skin cells or cause a bit of patchiness. There was also a very slight darkening effect. It applies better with a Daiso puff than a regular one. For a more hydrating application, try dampening the puff with water.
