I only apply it at night, and even after cleansing and toning, there is no tightness when I just use the cactus ampoule. It seems to absorb well when I massage it in for a long time. The texture is sticky yet runny, if I had to describe it. It flows down like a snail cream, but also stretches. After applying, my skin feels comfortable without any tightness. It leaves more of a plump, bouncy sensation rather than just hydration. I usually get a lot of hormonal breakouts before and during my period, but I feel like my blemishes have decreased a bit.
Cons
The snail-cream-like texture makes it flow down my face quickly, so I have to massage it in quickly. At first, I was clumsy at applying it fast, and ended up spilling the ampoule on the floor a few times, which was such a waste.

It's chewy and moisturizing. Since it's from a cactus, it's a bit slippery, but I really liked it as someone with dry skin!! :)
Cons
It gets absorbed and then feels dry again after some time.. Try applying the cactus cream and then spraying a mist with oil in it, or use a product with jojoba oil.
Tip
After applying and letting it absorb to some extent, applying a small amount of an oil-based product will prevent dryness.

The texture was quite dense and thick, which was a new experience for me. I was wondering if it would absorb well towards the end, but it absorbed quickly. Do you know the prickly pear that can be blended into yogurt? It had that kind of prickly pear scent, which I liked.
Cons
It seems to lack moisture for an ampoule. It only feels moisturized towards the end. After it's absorbed, my skin feels dry, like after using a water-based toner.
Tip
The tip is... if you layer on a generous amount of the same company's Cica cream, it doesn't feel as tight. I don't think it would work well for dry skin types.
