It seems to vary from person to person. I was hesitant because some people said the scent made them nauseous, but for me, only the initial whiff was a bit off-putting. After that, it became quite tolerable. Some say it's good to apply it twice, like layering, but I didn't find that necessary. To be honest, I didn't notice any improvements or effects. It didn't really enhance skin texture or benefit combination dehydrated skin. It wasn't particularly less drying, nor did it provide exceptional long-lasting hydration. I'm not sure what it's supposed to be good for. It seems to vary, but for me, it was ineffective. I bought two bottles, but I'm on my second one now and won't be repurchasing. Try applying it twice, layering it. Then follow up with a face oil. It absorbs beautifully, leaving your face with a radiant glow after application. While everything else is great, including the ingredients, the distinctive scent might be a hit or miss for some people.

I started using the Chungmijung Cactus Ampoule because my skin was feeling dehydrated deep down. Since one product can't perfect your skin on its own, I use several products together depending on my skin concerns! There's nothing quite like this for deep dryness. The scent might be a bit polarizing, but with safe ingredients and this level of hydration, I'll likely keep using it anyway. I highly recommend it. It's especially great for pregnant women, nursing mothers, and moms with young children. As mentioned above, the scent is a bit unique. My friend recommended this, and I've been using it generously morning and night since my skin's been acting up and feeling dry lately. The flakiness I used to get with makeup has disappeared, and my skin has definitely improved! I hear Cheongmijung has great ingredients too, so I'm planning to repurchase when I finish this one. The serum feels a bit thick, so it might seem sticky when you first apply it. However, it absorbs quickly, and I think with consistent use it could help with deep dryness. I bought this because it's so popular, and I'm glad I did! The ingredients are great, and although I was skeptical at first, I've never had any blemishes from using it. It's a solid, reliable serum that's perfect for daily use. The texture is a bit too runny for my liking, and the scent isn't my favorite. I'm not sure if it's because I used it when my skin was already in good condition, but I feel like my skin texture has improved. It wraps my skin in hydration while gently smoothing it out. The texture is slightly stretchy, like mucus, unlike regular ampoules! But it's not sticky at all, and when you apply it and help it absorb with your hands, it sinks in quickly. After application, I loved how it gave me a subtle glow, not an 'I just slathered something on' look, but a genuinely subtle Inner Glow. I hesitated because of the price point, but I decided to purchase it anyway due to its great ingredients! For best results, apply 2-3 layers depending on your skin type!
