I'm considering repurchasing it.
ConsWhen used alone, it causes significant dryness (combination skin type). The scent may be divisive. I personally prefer this over the generic cosmetic smell - it really does smell like cactus!

But after the 3rd day, there was no more stinging! I'm very satisfied! When using the 3-ampoule method, the last one seems a bit more viscous, so I use 1. cactus ampoule - 2. soothing/whitening/spot ampoule (depending on my skin condition that day) - 3. cactus ampoule, or 1. cactus ampoule - 2. cactus ampoule - 3. mixing the ampoule suited for the day's condition into my lotion. I have atopic dermatitis, so many products sting me. Even though they said it's gentle, it still stung me. But it definitely helps my skin condition! I was amazed to see the difference in my skin just a day after using it! The texture is unique - it absorbs well and leaves my skin feeling moist, but there's a slight tightness on the surface. But the inside feels hydrated! So during the 3-ampoule routine, the surface felt a bit tight, but after using a moisturizing lotion and sleeping with a hydrating mask, it was fine! I feel this ampoule is specifically formulated to strengthen the skin barrier and hydrate the inner skin. When I apply it, my skin feels deeply moisturized, and the next day my complexion looks smoother! So I'm also using other moisturizing products to take care of the surface. When using the 3-ampoule method, there's a slight oiliness, but I'm not breaking out, so I want to keep using it consistently! The scent is a plus for me, but it could be a downside for others.
ConsAs I mentioned, the scent seems to be a love-it-or-hate-it kind of thing. You described it as a pure earthy, soil-like scent, like the fragrance in a greenhouse. I'm also the kind of person who enjoys the natural, herbal scents in skincare products (it gives me a sense of nature). However, even though I like those kinds of earthy, grassy smells, this one wasn't particularly high-end or luxurious to me. It's still more of a simple, natural fragrance, not a sophisticated aroma. For my evening skincare routine, I really enjoy scents that feel like an aromatherapy experience, so the more luxurious and refined the fragrance, the more satisfied I tend to be. This one didn't quite reach that level of high-end scent for me. And it's also quite expensive... Yes, it's pricey, so I have to use it sparingly, even though I really want to use it more freely. But the good news is that the fragrance doesn't linger too long after application - it's just present during the actual use.
TipIf you find it leaves your skin feeling a bit tight, you can just mix a small amount into your lotion - it'll make it super moisturizing and dewy! But definitely don't use it in the morning before makeup, it's more of a nighttime, hydrating treatment. I'd recommend using it as a sleeping pack - lay a towel down and apply it before bed. Or you can use a cotton pad to lightly wipe it off and then follow up with your regular moisturizer. That way you get the deep hydration without the tightness.
