  The sugar scrub seemed less irritating than the salt scrub. There is an oil layer on top, but unlike the thick salt scrub, the granules are evenly mixed, so you just need to lightly mix the top layer before using it, which was convenient. As my skin tends to have a lot of dead skin and ingrown hairs, I use a scrub once in a while, and this one seemed to work well in removing the dead skin.
