I expected a refreshing scent based on the name, but it had a sweet vanilla fragrance instead.
The strong sweet scent lingered for dozens of minutes after showering, and while it wasn't a scent I personally dislike, it was different from what I had expected, which was a bit disappointing.
I had purposefully saved this for summer use, but... 🥲 The deep vanilla scent would probably suit the winter season better.
Also, my skin felt a bit dry and rough after using the scrub.
The lack of oil layer might be the reason, and while I could feel the exfoliation, my skin didn't feel as smooth and soft as I had hoped.

The sugar scrub seemed less irritating than the salt scrub.
There is an oil layer on top, but unlike the thick salt scrub, the granules are evenly mixed, so you just need to lightly mix the top layer before using it, which was convenient.
As my skin tends to have a lot of dead skin and ingrown hairs, I use a scrub once in a while, and this one seemed to work well in removing the dead skin. Since it's a water-soluble scrub, there were no residues left after showering, which was nice.

The sweet fragrance was wonderful for someone like me who loves fragrances. However, those who do not enjoy sweet scents may dislike it.

After using it and applying lotion, the skin becomes silky smooth.

It would probably be even better to use it when your body has minimal water on it.

There is a bit of a drying sensation, but I think applying a body lotion after showering would be great!

In short, a nice and mild product

First, wet your body with water, then apply this all over, reaching every nook and cranny. Rub it in while warming the product with lukewarm water. Otherwise, it can sting your skin. By melting it this way while massaging, you can exfoliate without any discomfort. Spend about 5 to 10 minutes rubbing it in, then rinse it off, and your skin will be super soft and smooth.

The granules have a bit of coarseness, so if you rub it on too hard, it can be painful. Also, since the container is a jar, more hygiene-conscious people might not like it. But it didn't bother me at all.
