  Perfect for winter use! It's so moisturizing. I have extremely dry skin, and when I applied too much skincare in the morning, it would pill. But when I use just a bit of this, it doesn't pill at all. It provides a nice brightening effect, doesn't cause any blemishes, and feels gentle and hydrating. I have sensitive skin, but this doesn't irritate me at all - it's truly gentle. Plus, it doesn't make my skin look oily, which I love.

  Cons

  It's fine when first applied, but when I try to layer it, it sometimes pills or looks patchy. I'm not sure if it's just my skin, but when my skin is in good condition, it doesn't pill or look uneven. However, if I've had too much to drink or haven't slept well, it does. Also, don't apply too much at once - it's better to apply small amounts frequently.

  First off, I love the product name. The consistency is on the thinner side, so it spreads easily on the skin. There's hardly any white cast, and it absorbs well. In my case, it was great for use in dry weather. On hot or humid days, my forehead would get a bit shiny after a while. However, I don't consider this a drawback for dry days, as it keeps the skin hydrated and feels good. I think it's a product specially designed for dry weather. The generous amount allows for liberal application, which is a plus. Also, it didn't cause any irritation to my skin.

  I have combination dehydrated skin with severe deep dryness, and my eyes are super sensitive, so I can't tolerate any stinging. I don't wear makeup, just sunscreen, so I'm really interested in finding the right one. This sunscreen is moisturizing, doesn't irritate my eyes, and provides a subtle, natural brightening effect. It leaves a slight dewy glow, like a healthy sheen. My skin gets so dry that even moisturizing mineral sunscreens feel parched by lunchtime, making them difficult to use.   I got to try the Birch Moisturizing Sunscreen thanks to their exchange policy. Having struggled with mineral sunscreens before, I didn't have high expectations, but I'm pleasantly surprised! First off, the extreme dryness around my eyes is almost gone. While it doesn't give a dewy or glossy finish, it provides a fresh look with just the right amount of hydration. It's perfect for wearing all day when I'm not wearing makeup. Surprisingly, it also pairs well with my cushion foundation for makeup days! The best part is how gentle it feels. My skin feels comfortable, and it works well even for my sensitive skin prone to allergies and blemishes. To sum it up: it's a gentle sunscreen with adequate hydration that works well under makeup.

  The hydration does tend to diminish a bit with prolonged wear, but you can always reapply or use a face mist to refresh it.
