ConsAfter application, it leaves a white cast, making the skin look pale and lifted. It doesn't absorb well and tends to pill like dirt
TipTry mixing it with an emulsion for better results

I've been using it for about a year, and not once have I experienced any eye irritation. Plus, I've never had a breakout after applying it.
ConsThe white cast is extremely noticeable even when applying just a small amount. Whether using the sunscreen alone or with other products, it feels like my face is floating. The pilling is really bad, both when used alone and with other products. It pills up like dead skin cells when applying, and even the slightest touch to your face causes it to pill. I also dislike the scent. There are too many disappointing aspects. I wouldn't recommend this for those with oily or combination dehydrated skin.

Cons- Because it's non-nano, the particles are large, causing it to sit noticeably on the skin - Although it's moisturizing due to the hyaluronic acid, it pills like dead skin cells As someone who usually applies the recommended amount of sunscreen, this one pills so much that I can't even touch my face after application
TipThere's no solution... The only way is to apply multiple thin layers... Even this method results in pilling and a white cast... I'll never buy a sunscreen with hyaluronic acid again

With good ingredients and donations to Dokdo, I thought 'Oh, I must buy this!' I care about product quality, but design and scent are also important to me - and the design passes! Looking at the ingredients, the mineral UV filters pass too! The scent... well... it fails. But what we care about most - no pilling or sliding when wearing makeup. I wouldn't say it's perfect, but it's not bad enough to make you faint in shock. With a solid base underneath, there were no issues. These days they say it's all about online shopping, but offline isn't inconvenient either! Since I bought it at Olive Young, it should be easy to purchase, right?
ConsThe scent is way too strong! My previous product had no fragrance, so this one might feel extra potent in comparison. Also, when you rub the sunscreen after applying, there's some pilling(?). It's like the sunscreen is coming off in little bits. I don't recommend this sunscreen for wearing under makeup. But since it's the only sunscreen I have right now, I'll have to use it for a while...
TipIf you absolutely must apply makeup over this, make sure to remove any excess oil (I recommend a clay mask) and create a solid base.

Texture The texture is thin and slightly runny with a moist feel. It's like applying an emulsion - moisturizing but not overly dewy. It feels hydrating during application. 2. Application Due to its thin consistency, it applies smoothly like an emulsion, which isn't bad. It has a unique application feel. However, it's hard to tell if it fully absorbs - I'll elaborate on this in the cons section. 3. White cast Many say mineral sunscreens have a severe white cast, but once fully spread, it's not too intense - just moderate. I'd say this level of white cast is acceptable. 4. Ingredients Looking at the Hwahae ingredient list, there are no harmful components. Being a mineral sunscreen, it should be gentler on the skin.
ConsFirst off, it pills badly. Even with gentle rubbing, it clumps together and pills excessively. This happens even without heavy skincare underneath - it comes off like dead skin cells. Due to its moistness, it leaves streak marks when applied. It also tends to gather around the nose. Trying to pat out these streaks takes quite a while. Instead of creating a smooth, even tone, it leaves patchy areas. Regarding absorption, while it doesn't feel like it's sitting on top of the skin, if you touch your face lightly, sometimes product comes off and sometimes it doesn't. Where your fingers brush, the product can lift off, revealing your original skin tone and creating uneven patches.
