As a long-time customer, I'm so grateful I thought the small size wouldn't last long, but surprisingly, even a little goes a long way in firming up the skin. It lasted me just over 2 months Inner Glow, dark spot improvement, overall complexion enhancement With consistent use, while it doesn't completely eliminate dark spots, I've seen noticeable fading and a significant improvement in my overall skin tone
ConsIrritation It can cause a tingling sensation when first applied, especially if your skin is in poor condition or if you have sensitive skin I recommend mixing it with a moisturizer or using it every other day
TipApply at night rather than during the day If you do use it during the day, sunscreen is an absolute must

It has a slightly oily texture and gives a great feeling of hydration. Packed with vitamin C, consistent use will definitely help with brightening the complexion.
ConsProbably due to its high vitamin C content, it causes a tingling sensation when applied to the face. It's a bit intense, I'd say. It's best to apply a very thin layer using just a small amount.

Rapid effects of pure Vitamin C This essence contains 23% Vitamin C in a water-based formula with a pH below 4, maximizing its activation. Pure Vitamin C is a proven antioxidant that works on the skin's surface, not just in the digestive system. It's potent but effective. You'll notice improved elasticity within the first week of use. It instantly tightens enlarged pores caused by mask-wearing and firms up the skin. By the time you've used half the bottle, you'll see a definite improvement in your complexion. 2. Suitable for skin types that have previously reacted to Vitamin C products (However, since Vitamin C can soften dead skin cells and cause deep dryness, it's recommended to use it with a moisturizer that supports hydration and skin barrier function) 3. Unlike many oil-based Vitamin C essences, this water-like essence offers a more pleasant user experience 4. Synergy with other ingredients Contains both Vitamin E and C, which slow down each other's oxidation and complement each other during skin absorption. Also includes other brightening ingredients like glutathione and niacinamide.
Cons1. High potential for irritation Vitamin C is known for its effectiveness but also its potential to irritate. Its efficacy is directly related to the chemical changes it causes in the skin. Those with sensitive skin may experience slight tingling upon initial use, and occasional sensitivity depending on skin condition. 2. Vitamin C naturally causes deep dryness and is an acidic, potentially irritating ingredient Despite additional moisturizing ingredients like oil and panthenol, it can still dry out the skin. Always follow up with hydrating and moisturizing products. You may feel dryness in the morning, especially outside of summer. Not recommended for: - Very dry skin (unless used with a sheet mask every time) - Weak skin barrier - Skin prone to redness - Highly sensitive or blemish-prone skin, or temporarily sensitized skin - Damaged or wounded skin (will cause intense stinging) For sensitive and dry skin, consider Vitamin C derivative products instead of pure Vitamin C to avoid potential issues like redness or blemishes. 3. Sticky texture characteristic of Vitamin C products Not recommended for those who dislike any stickiness. The finish is very tacky, not due to oiliness but more like dried soda on the skin surface, which can be unpleasant. Hands also feel sticky after application.
Tip1. Gradually introduce into your evening routine with adaptation and rest periods Don't apply Vitamin C during the day due to its photosensitivity. Start by using it every other evening, monitoring skin reaction. If no adverse reactions occur, use nightly for 2-3 weeks. Take a month-long break (matching the skin turnover cycle) before restarting. Instead of using multiple bottles consecutively, it's better for long-term antioxidant effects and skin barrier health to use it as an intensive treatment 2-3 times a year when skin is in good condition. 2. Recommended routine: Mildly acidic cleanser - Vitamin C serum - Hydrating serum - Moisturizer Vitamin C activates at pH 4 or lower and is very drying. Most cosmetics, including cleansers, are typically pH 7-8 (neutral or slightly alkaline). Alternating between acidic and alkaline products in one routine can irritate skin and neutralize the Vitamin C serum's pH, reducing its effectiveness. 📍Use a mildly acidic cleanser (around pH 5.5) followed immediately by the Vitamin C serum. Apply a thin layer once or twice, allow 4-5 minutes for absorption, then follow with a hydrating serum and moisturizing cream to combat deep dryness. Choose serums and creams focused on hydration and soothing, preferably with ingredients that support the skin barrier. For very dry skin, consider using a hydrating sheet mask over the Vitamin C 23 serum. 3. Avoid additional physical or chemical exfoliation The Vitamin C serum already provides chemical exfoliation, so don't add any more exfoliating products or methods during use. This includes even mild exfoliating skincare, pad cleansing methods, or cleansing brushes. Also avoid using after intense cleansing treatments like whitehead or blackhead removal. 4. Don't use after oxidation Vitamin C is unstable and sensitive to light and air, hence the small packaging. Use within 2 months, store in the refrigerator, and discard if it turns brown (indicates oxidation). 5. Pairs well with ceramide products Using it with Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Mask provides a pleasant experience and leaves skin feeling moisturized even in the morning.

Luckily, this vitamin ampoule came as a sample with my cosmetics order, and I gave it a try. It turned out to be better than I expected! So I purchased it and now use it every evening. I definitely feel like it's providing extra nourishment to my skin. For an ampoule, it's not overly rich, which is perfect.
ConsThere aren't any particular downsides, but personally, I'm cautious about one thing. When I notice a few blemishes appearing, I temporarily stop using it. I figured it might cause some irritation. So when I get blemishes, I pause using the ampoule until my skin calms down, then I resume use.
TipAt first, I was lazy and didn't store it in the fridge, just using it as is. But maybe because it's summer, the ampoule's scent started to change slightly. So I began keeping it in the fridge, and it seems much better that way. Everyone... even if it's a hassle, please store it in the refrigerator when you use it!

It just doesn't suit my skin
ConsI guess it's because of the vitamin content, but it stings;; It's uncomfortable every time I apply it, and my mother also says it's tingling... It's too irritating to use, and if you buy it at full price, it's way too expensive...

It did help improve blemish marks. While not dramatically noticeable, they became somewhat fainter.
ConsI expected some intensity due to the high vitamin concentration, but the irritation was more than anticipated. My skin doesn't usually react, except to 2% BHA, and I've never felt irritation from chemical ingredients before. However, this ampoule caused a stinging sensation when applied. Also, its slightly oily texture doesn't seem suitable for acne-prone oily skin. As for its main functions of antioxidation and brightening, it's hard to tell after just two months of use. Given the unpleasant user experience so far, I probably won't repurchase.
TipNot recommended for sensitive or oily skin types. Also, as this is a high-performance ampoule emphasizing firmness improvement, those in their 20s like me who only expect blemish-fading effects from vitamin products probably don't need such a high concentration.

The higher the concentration, the better! This product has a 23% concentration, which is why I'm using it with absolute confidence. You don't often find something like this on the market. Vitamin C products usually have a characteristic stickiness or tingling sensation, which I'm prepared for, but surprisingly, this one feels quite pleasant to use. I'm actually on my third bottle now - I get anxious when it's running low! I use it with my gemstone therapy device, and personally, I think it's just like getting a vitamin treatment at the dermatologist's office with those galvanic machines (honestly, I trust this Aesop vitamin C more since I use it daily and know the concentration). Pro tip: when using it with a device, don't apply the product first. Instead, apply it and immediately massage it in with the device for better absorption and to avoid any dryness. As for the texture, I love how firm it feels. It's like it's clinging to my face, which makes me feel like it's tightening my pores. I usually don't feel very dry, so in the evenings, I just finish with a mist and this product. My skin concerns are blemishes and fine lines under my eyes. While I haven't seen any dramatic fading of dark spots or sudden smoothing of wrinkles, I definitely feel satisfied right after using it every day. (It's my daily dose of happiness!) I'll keep using it like this until I find another product I want to use as consistently.
ConsWhile I'm really satisfied with this product, I'll mention some points that others might consider drawbacks. 1. Tingling sensation: It varies depending on my skin's condition. Some days I don't feel anything, other days it tingles. But it's not like the burning you get when your skin is irritated - it's more like a static electricity feeling. Personally, I'm a bit disappointed on days when I don't feel it, as if it's not working. 2. Stickiness: It does feel a bit sticky after application. It's not a tacky feeling, but more like a film on your skin. I think of it as holding my skin together. If you don't like this feeling, try gently rolling in a light moisturizer to 'dissolve' this film and help it absorb. 3. Volume: I know vitamin C products usually come in smaller sizes because the ingredient oxidizes easily, but I use this product religiously and quite generously (though they say a small amount is effective). So, I wish the bottle was a bit more generous in size.
TipI use this every night with a beauty device (to aid absorption), and I don't feel the need for separate dermatologist treatments. If I add a steam mask, it really feels like I'm getting a professional treatment.

At first, it seems to flow easily, but once you start absorbing it into your skin, it adheres beautifully with a luxurious, velvety feel.
ConsI had high hopes for this product, but unfortunately, it left me with more disappointments than satisfactions. First off, despite its vitamin content, it caused an intense tingling sensation on my skin. After a few days of use, I somewhat got used to the feeling and it seemed less irritating. However, if I skipped even one day and then reapplied it, the burning sensation would return full force. Moreover, the texture is not just rich, it's excessively sticky. It made my eyelids stick together to the point where blinking became a chore, forcing me to avoid the eye area entirely. When I applied the ampoule before bed, my face would practically glue itself to the pillow! Lastly, after using the ampoule for a few days, I noticed yellow stains appearing on my pillowcase where my face had been. It took me a while to realize the culprit was this ampoule. Since then, I've relegated it to neck-use only.
