I was worried since my skin is a bit sensitive, but it wasn't as tingling as I expected. There's just a very slight, subtle tingling sensation. It stays on the skin with a nice, bouncy texture for about 3 minutes, and after that, it feels pleasantly matte! Hair does stick to it though~ I haven't seen any brightening effects yet, but my skin seems a bit clearer? I'll need to use it consistently for at least 3 months to see real results!!! I didn't read the instructions and used it as is, so the layers were separated. Turns out you're supposed to shake it before use, haha. Storing it in the fridge makes it feel cool and nice when applying~ Not recommended for use alone if you have extremely dry skin!!! Store in the refrigerator, shake before use!! I haven't been using it for long, but so far I've had no issues and it's working well for me There's a slight tingling sensation when I apply it. But I guess this level of tingling is pretty common with other ampoules too

I expected a fresh scent like other products, but this has a cozy? kind of smell. And seriously, after a week, it swells up... It's very runny, so when you drop it on your face, you need to quickly spread it before it drips down. At first, it felt a bit tingly, but now it's fine. It's one of those products that make you feel uneasy if you don't use it! If you have blemishes on your face, it can sting a bit, and if it accidentally touches your eyes while applying... tears will flow!

When this product first launched, I barely finished one bottle due to its stickiness and excessive shine. It also stung my sensitive skin. While I noticed a slight improvement in my skin tone, the drawbacks outweighed the benefits, so I didn't repurchase. However, last summer, my skin looked so lackluster that I decided to give it another try. Whether it's due to the reformulation or not, I found the new version much more pleasant to use. There was no tingling sensation, and it absorbed well, leaving my skin feeling fresh and hydrated! Most importantly, I've seen a gradual brightening of my previously dull complexion, which is why I keep repurchasing. Even on lazy nights, I make sure to apply my boosting essence (water-based) and this vitamin serum before bed. The price? Actually, I find that 2-4 drops go a long way, and with the increased volume after reformulation, it's not a significant expense for me. If you experience a stinging sensation due to the pure vitamin C's acidity not agreeing with your skin, try applying your regular soothing toner or mask on top. It works like a charm. On hot days or when my skin feels irritated, I apply this vitamin serum followed by a derma repair mask (my holy grail product that doesn't cause itching, though it's not very moisturizing). It's just enough for a month's use, and after that month, I feel like my complexion has become a bit brighter. I have super sensitive skin, but it doesn't cause any tingling when applied, which is great. I think I can care for my skin at home with this without needing to visit a dermatologist. As someone with skin prone to blemishes and scarring, I appreciated that this product contains a high concentration of vitamin C. It was nice to see that applying it before bed somewhat brightened my complexion by morning. However, the improvement wasn't as significant as I had hoped, and the product left a sticky residue on my skin after application.
