The Origin toner has mild ingredients and leaves my skin feeling hydrated. Among exfoliating toners, some absorb quickly or have a light, refreshing finish, but I found Origin's more moisturizing formula suits me better.
ConsWhen I use it as an exfoliating toner with a cotton pad, it feels a bit slippery. There's a slight foam left on the cotton pad, and I'm not sure which ingredient causes this. Still, it works well for my skin, so I continue using it. I wish they could remove the ingredient that causes the slippery texture.
TipUsing it as an exfoliating toner, I noticed it's not a quick-absorbing type. So, I tried using it with thin sponge cotton pads for a toner mask, and it works great. Since it doesn't absorb immediately, it doesn't dry out my skin even when used as a toner mask.

Heavy products like runny essences or creams just make my face oily without addressing the tightness. That's why I usually opt for gentle toners and do the layering technique, but I still couldn't find anything truly satisfying. The Doctor Toner seemed to work best, but then I tried this product, and it significantly reduced my skin's deep dryness! If I don't use it in the morning, my face feels tight as soon as I get to work. I've decided this is my holy grail skincare product! Less deep dryness must mean my skin barrier is improving, right? Before using this, my skin was a bit sensitive and prone to redness, but with consistent use, it feels so much calmer. If you're like me and can't solve your deep dryness issues with regular skincare or layering techniques, I highly recommend giving this a try!
ConsSince I mainly use gentle products for layering due to deep dryness, I thought it would be nice if it came in a spray format for easy application. But I suppose the current formulation and packaging are what work best for the product. Other than that, I don't have any complaints!
TipI transfer small amounts into a mini spray bottle and use it for layering. Usually, with other toners, I need to apply five to seven layers, but with this, three layers are enough. There's still a bit of tightness after two layers, but three seems to do the trick. I stick to three layers to avoid overloading my skin. Just spray and pat it in!

Absorbs well into the skin. Excellent hydration. Generous amount. Texture has a slight viscosity. Fragrance-free. No eye irritation. Non-irritating. Great for layering.
ConsFor combination skin, it feels a bit heavy and stuffy when applied directly with hands. Using a cotton pad makes it feel somewhat lighter. It's a bit heavy for midsummer, but on the bright side, you might not need a separate essence. The container opening is inconvenient to use. It's prone to spilling when dispensing. Be careful with the amount.
TipLayering it a few times gives an essence-like effect. Great for hydration.

It's not just a watery product, but has a bit of richness too. Layering this toner three times is enough to skip moisturizer or emulsion. 2) Gentle and non-irritating. Not sure if it balances pH as the name suggests, but even on days when I've over-cleansed, this doesn't sting or itch. I layer it 2-3 times daily as an exfoliating toner. It definitely calms the skin, absorbs well, and gives a subtle Inner Glow that makes me want to get closer to the mirror. It came as a gift with a sunscreen purchase and I fell in love. Great value for the volume, and it suits my sensitive skin well. I'm buying it separately for my sister whose skin has become sensitive lately. It's really good! (Updated 8/9/2019) After double cleansing with oil and foam cleansers to remove mineral sunscreen, using this toner causes irritation. It starts around the lips and spreads to the whole face, feeling tingly. It's similar to the numbness from anesthetic cream before a dermatology procedure. As this happens every evening after cleansing, I've stopped using it. With just under half a bottle left, I'll probably use it on my arms and legs.
ConsSince I only expect toners to refine skin texture, I didn't notice any downsides. The hydration is good too, so nothing really...
TipAfter cleansing, I don't use a towel. I just lightly pat with White Rabbit cotton pads, then flip them over and pat on this toner as an exfoliating toner. Follow with a hydrating toner for skin texture refinement - they work well together. When using this product, I hardly use my Sidmool toner anymore. Also, using rich products on top of this can be too much. I stick to water-based moisturizers and just add one drop of face oil, rubbed between palms and pressed into skin, for amazing hydration.

It pairs exceptionally well with Silcot Uruuru cotton pads. Instead of evaporating quickly, it absorbs gently into the skin.
ConsI bought it as an exfoliating toner, but it absorbs too slowly for that purpose. It sits on the surface before finally sinking in. The gentle application is actually more slippery than expected. Like most heavier toners, it leaves a residual feeling on your hands after application. If you have dry skin, you'll need an additional moisturizer. The packaging is inconvenient! It's hard to open and difficult to control the amount dispensed.
TipRecommended to use in small amounts.

It's low-irritation and slightly acidic, which is great. At first, I thought it would have a runny texture, but it feels like a mix with a gel? It's cool and pleasant when applying. I think both the product and its color are beautifully ethereal.
ConsI bought this A-True product during a sunscreen special event on Hwahae, but I probably wouldn't have purchased it otherwise... I wish they'd lower the price a bit. The opening of the cap is very small, which makes it inconvenient. The hole is tiny...

I bought it from Hwahae. I liked that it's fragrance-free. The toner has a slightly viscous texture, which I appreciate. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated.
ConsWhile the packaging design is pretty, the bottle cap seems a bit flimsy.

Provides ample hydration - Perfect for seasonal transitions. It has a runny, essence-like texture. 2. Gentle ingredients - There's a slight redness right after application, but after using it for over two weeks, I noticed no blemishes and my skin actually felt more comfortable. Some stubborn whiteheads naturally disappeared. I think it's thanks to the well-balanced pH. 2. Can be used as an exfoliating toner and for neck care - Maximizes hydration when used not just on the face, but also on the neck and upper body. 3. ❗💯 Spot treatment mask possible even on busy mornings - As it's a toner with great ingredients that boost hydration, saturating a cotton pad and placing it on dry areas like between the eyebrows and on the cheeks makes makeup application flawless.
Cons1. Slightly disappointing as an exfoliating toner - The runny texture makes it a bit lacking as an exfoliating toner. Nevertheless, I use it to wipe my face and... haha, I'm a bit embarrassed to admit, but I also use it on my neck, behind the ears, and even in the underarm area. In summer, rather than applying emulsions, using an exfoliating toner like this for thorough cleansing provides great hydration.
TipAfter showering in the morning and applying my base skincare, I soak cotton pads with this product and place them on both cheeks and between my eyebrows. While the product absorbs, I dry my hair and get dressed. Then I remove the cotton pads and apply makeup. My makeup goes on incredibly well!

I use this toner for cleansing, and it works fine without any issues. The consistency isn't too watery and has a slight viscosity, which doesn't make it difficult to use as an exfoliating toner. The quantity is generous - I've been using it for over 3 weeks, and it hasn't decreased much. Since I don't have high expectations for toners, I give it 5 stars as long as it doesn't cause any skin problems.
ConsThose who prefer a water-like consistency for their toners might find this slightly sticky. Also, its mildness could be both a pro and a con. The toner alone doesn't significantly improve skin condition. The hydration is just okay, so if you have dry skin, you'll need to apply essence and cream as well.

My skin is extremely sensitive and usually reacts to most products, but this one didn't cause any tingling sensation. It's fantastic! The slightly acidic pH seems to suit my skin well. When I pat it on lightly, it doesn't feel sticky at all. The packaging and color are pretty and clean-looking, which would make it a great gift too. This is my first time using a toner, and I'm so satisfied that I think I'll stick to this one instead of trying others. It's truly a product I'm happy with!
ConsThere's not much to complain about, but the opening is a bit small, so the product sometimes drips down the sides when dispensing, which is slightly inconvenient.
