The staying power is also quite good.
ConsI chose dark brown, but after wearing it for a while, I realized it was darker than expected, almost black.

Trusted it because it's said to be safe. The scent isn't overpowering.
ConsThe routine of washing, drying, applying, then washing again... I wonder if it's truly safe for the scalp. The amount is quite small.

I started experiencing hair loss at my hairline due to frequent coloring. So, I decided to give Ricirio a try, albeit with some skepticism. What I love about this is that it's not a hair dye but a treatment, so there are no side effects like unpleasant smells.
ConsThe downside is that you need to leave the treatment on for at least an hour, and its effects don't last very long, so you have to use it frequently. It can be quite a hassle.

My dad has a lot of gray hair, but this dye definitely turns it noticeably dark brown. He has allergies and usually can't use hair dye, but he says there's no itching at all with this one. Plus, he's thrilled that there's no strong odor. We're very satisfied.
ConsIf there's one downside, it might be the price. But the benefits outweigh the cost, so we're still happy with it.

ConsIt's a bit inconvenient that you need to wash your hair, dry it, and then apply the product. However, this process seems to result in better color absorption.
TipAt first, it might seem less effective than traditional hair dyes, but after three applications, you'll notice the color becomes significantly more intense.

The photo shows the results on my brown-dyed hair without grays.
Cons- The color doesn't last very long. But if you think of it as a treatment and reapply when the color fades, it's not too bad. Just a bit of a hassle..? - It's a bit on the pricey side. - Although it's meant to be applied with bare hands, it can stain your nails slightly, so I'd recommend wearing gloves.
TipThere's a comb included, but it's hard to apply thoroughly with it. I recommend wearing gloves and applying with your hands for best results!

Scent Unlike most hair dyes that have a chemical smell no matter how mild they claim to be, this product has absolutely no odor. It was pleasant not feeling uncomfortable while waiting for the dye to process. 2. Scalp and Hair Texture With other dyes, I often felt a tingling on my scalp and my hair would feel stiff after washing. With this product, I didn't experience any of that. My hair texture wasn't damaged and the whole process was comfortable. 3. Color Selection I appreciate that you can choose a color that matches your natural hair color. 4. QR Code Instructions It's great that they included a QR code on the case for easy access to usage instructions and precautions.
Cons1. Price While it's cheaper compared to getting root touch-ups at a salon multiple times, it's a bit pricey for a treatment. I only applied it to my roots to test its effectiveness, but for long hair, you might need to use half to a whole bottle for full coverage. 2. Color Payoff Due to being in COVID isolation, I only used it twice - right after delivery and on the last day of the review period. While I noticed a tone-down effect on my existing black hair, it barely colored my gray hairs, which was the main reason I wanted to use this treatment. (The website mentions repeating the application for gray hair coverage, so I'll update my review after multiple uses.)
Tip1. Despite the good ingredients that shouldn't cause major issues if they touch bare skin, any skin that comes into contact with the product will be dyed. It's best to apply it carefully to your hair, just like you would with regular hair dye, preferably using gloves. 2. If the product gets on unwanted areas, you can remove the dye by applying shampoo to the affected area.

Easy to use: Being a treatment, I felt comfortable approaching it without the anxiety of potential failure like with regular hair dyes. 2. Color: The dark brown shade is natural-looking and not at all outdated. 3. Scent: No harsh chemical odors like regular hair dyes! This was the most satisfying aspect. 4. No hair damage after coloring! It's a win-win situation - you can color your hair while improving its condition with this treatment.
ConsThe price is quite steep for regular use. Other than that, I haven't found any drawbacks yet.
TipI applied for this event to cover my mother's gray hair. We applied it only to the areas with grays, waited about 50 minutes, then shampooed. Since it was our first time, the coverage wasn't perfect, but the areas where I applied it thoroughly were well-colored. I recommend applying it meticulously, front and back, and gently massaging it in with your fingers for better absorption. Waiting 50 minutes definitely improved the coloring results. The product instructions (not on the box, but with the product itself) even allow for up to 60 minutes of processing time. You can apply it carefully, put on a cap, and go about your business while you wait.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsThe Hwahae Testers Report: - As it's a treatment, not a hair dye, there was no stinging sensation on the eyes or skin during application. - As someone who dyes their hair every 3 weeks, using this product once every 2 weeks is convenient and great for maintaining color. - It's fragrance-free, so it's not overwhelming. - I appreciate that it's not a chemical hair dye. - It's less damaging to hair compared to regular hair dye. - It helps extend the life of your hair color after dyeing.
Cons- Since the main purpose is coloring, it's not as convenient to use as a regular treatment. You need to use a dye brush instead of the included comb, making the process similar to dyeing your hair, which is a bit disappointing. - It can't completely replace hair dye. After applying for 30 minutes and rinsing, it was difficult to see any effect on gray hair. However, it might help maintain color and extend the period between dyes for already colored hair that's starting to fade. - While the product is marketed as not being a chemical hair dye, looking at the ingredients, I noticed food tar and several other concerning components. I question whether this is truly safer than hair dye, and I'm hesitant to purchase a product that directly contacts the skin until safer alternatives are used. I'd like to see clinical trial results confirming its safety, especially given claims that it's safe for pregnant women. Even if food-grade tar dyes are considered safe in small amounts, this product requires applying a large quantity directly to the skin for an extended period. I believe there should be clear safety standards for this type of use. If these safety concerns are addressed, I'd be willing to use this product until my black hair turns completely gray!
TipGive it a try!

The bouncy texture means you can apply it smoothly with your hands, no need to mix separate components. It doesn't splatter, so you can apply it neatly. However, using bare hands isn't advisable - disposable gloves are a must-have, not just an option. Two common drawbacks of hair dye are the smell and allergic reactions. Surprisingly, there was no trace of that typical hair dye odor. And since the scalp is also skin, hair dye usually causes itching and irritation in the eyes and throat, but I experienced almost none of that. The color is fantastic. Dark brown was the best choice - not too dark, not too light, just naturally beautiful. It looks like my original hair color, leaving my hair looking soft and well-conditioned.
ConsHowever, even after leaving it on for the maximum recommended 20 minutes, it didn't completely cover all the gray hair. I used it on my dad who has completely white hair, and while it did color most of his hair, up close you could still see some grayish streaks throughout. It made me wonder if a second application might be necessary.
TipI started looking into this product wondering how to manage regular gray coverage when unable to use regular dye due to pregnancy or other reasons. Ideally, avoiding dye altogether would be best, but that's not always practical. I'm keeping this as a backup option. While I deducted one star because the color didn't take perfectly, in a situation where regular dye isn't an option, I probably would have given it a full five stars.
