Doesn't cause milia, has a light texture that doesn't feel suffocating, greasy, or slippery. Some say it's hard to spread, but I personally prefer this thick consistency and find it satisfying. The tube is lightweight and compact, and you can squeeze out every last drop. Contains surfactants, some ingredients could be better. The price is a bit high for the amount you get. As someone with dry skin, I can only use it briefly in midsummer. While the scent isn't overpowering, I prefer fragrance-free products. - rk*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 20, 2023
It's great for oily, acne-prone skin as it helps regulate sebum production! The gentle ingredients make it suitable for sensitive skin. I didn't experience any blemishes or tingling after use. Once applied, it absorbs quickly without any stickiness, leaving a nice moisturized feeling. It's versatile enough for year-round use and seems perfect for those with oily skin who need sebum control or are worried about breakouts. The application feels a bit strange at first, like it's sitting on top of the skin, but it absorbs well with a bit more patting. It's not like using regular cosmetics, so the initial texture might be surprising! Also, because of its gentle ingredients, the shelf life is only 3 months, which means you need to use it up quickly - that's a bit of a downside. Lastly, it tends to pill under foundation, so I'd recommend using it only at night if you wear makeup. I recommend applying it in the evening rather than in the morning. - gy*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 27, 2022
As someone with combination-oily skin in summer and partially dry, combination dehydrated skin in winter, I'm also quite sensitive. I've tried many products with good ingredients, but often ended up with blemishes. That's how sensitive my skin is! I first tried this product as a sample with my Naturoderm purchase, and I can't express how amazing it is! My skin had been rough lately with blemishes and small bumps appearing for no reason. After using this product for a week, my skin became as smooth as a peeled egg! No more breakouts, and my makeup applies beautifully now. At first, it might feel a bit dry, but when you touch your skin, you can feel the deep hydration. My current routine is toner - this product (Fluide Matifiant) - and because it's spring/summer, a light soothing cream (Dr.G Red Blemish). This routine works perfectly for me without any dryness! (It seems to balance my oil and moisture, as I don't get oily and my skin feels deeply hydrated) In winter, I think using a richer cream would work well. I tried the Crème Anti-Pollution (purifying and oxygenating product) sample, which is also great, but a bit too rich for my skin in this weather. For winter, I think toner - this product (Fluide Matifiant) - Anti-Pollution cream would be perfect! Oh, and since this product contains salicylic acid, it's not recommended for long-term use as it might irritate the skin. There's nothing I particularly dislike about it! Even though it contains some potent ingredients, it works so well for me... If I had to pick something, maybe the price is a bit steep? In the same acne line, there's an essence and a cream product. The Fluide Matifiant Pureté (essence) contains salicylic acid, so it's not recommended for long-term use as it might irritate the skin. - Fluide Matifiant Pureté (essence) has ingredients that help with small bumps and excess sebum! - Crème Matifiante Pureté (cream) has ingredients that help with blemishes and red inflammation! I'm using the Fluide Matifiant Pureté (essence) with great results, but since long-term use isn't good, I'm planning to use the Fluide only on areas with small bumps and then apply the Crème (cream) all over as the next step in my routine! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 6, 2022
I tried a sample and immediately purchased the full size. I have combination and sensitive skin that's prone to blemishes when my skin balance is off. When that happens, applying this product before bed completely calms my skin. It's a great product to use occasionally depending on your skin condition! I can't really find any downsides. You might be surprised at first because it doesn't absorb well if you just spread it on. You need to pat it in. After applying, you need to gently pat it into your skin. - my*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 25, 2020
The scent was lovely... If you get a big blemish, it might be okay to just apply it to that specific area. I've been exfoliating a lot lately, so my skin seems to have become super sensitive. I've been getting a lot of blemishes too. I used this product believing it was gentle, but unfortunately, it turned out to be quite irritating. Looking at the ingredients, I can see why. As a result, I've developed many small bumps. Also, using this alone makes my skin feel dry quickly, and I experience itching.
