ProsWhen I apply this, my skin feels smoother. I've heard argan oil helps control sebum, and it's true - when I mix a drop with my moisturizer, my skin produces less oil.
ConsThe scent isn't great. I think it might be too drying for those with dry skin.

ProsI bought this because it's cold-pressed. The combination of Moroccan argan seems great for both skin and hair. It's not an extremely rich type, which I liked as it feels relatively light for a face oil. It's nice to mix a bit into your final skincare step for a light application.
ConsThere wasn't anything I disliked. Once, I applied too much to my hair and it clumped a bit, but that's my fault. Other than that, it's a decent, no-fuss oil.
TipThis light oil might be slightly insufficient for extremely dry skin types! When mixed with cream and applied in the final skincare step, it absorbs well without any stickiness!

ProsIt doesn't clog pores, so it doesn't cause blemishes. I have sensitive skin that's prone to clogged pores, and my skin doesn't agree with jojoba oil, Zeroid, or Physiogel. This is an oil that people with similar skin concerns might find suitable.
ConsIt's drying. Those who say it's not drying probably don't have extremely dry skin. I have severely dry skin, so I use it as a final step when washing my face, apply three drops before my cream, and then use six drops as a moisturizing barrier after applying cream, but it's still drying. People without extremely dry skin will likely be satisfied.

ConsThe scent is somewhat disappointing, and it's crucial to control the amount used

ProsThis is truly the best oil out there, I highly recommend it! For those who find that no skincare product works for them, give this a try - it brought peace to my seemingly hopeless skin. I've tried hemp seed oil too, but it had an unpleasant smell and didn't suit my skin, so I use it for body and hair instead. Argan oil is famous for not clogging pores, so if it agrees with your skin, I guarantee it'll be your lifelong go-to oil. It's excellent for hydration, and when used with other products, it works wonders as a booster. I've been using it successfully on my troublesome skin for over a year now.
ConsSome people use it alone, but in my case, using it by itself made my complexion look worse and felt too greasy and heavy. So, I started mixing a few drops of argan oil with toner in a separate bottle and shaking it before use. Now my skin tone looks better, my skin doesn't feel tight, and it's absolutely fantastic.
TipIt's great to use with skincare products that suit you. I use it with toner and it's amazing - my skin feels at peace. Here's a super pro tip: After cleansing, fill the sink with lukewarm water, add 2-3 drops of argan oil, and rinse your face with it. Your skin will feel incredibly moisturized even without applying anything else. If argan oil doesn't seem to work for you, try this method - you'll be satisfied!

ProsIf you're looking for a moisturizing oil, I would recommend argan oil.
It's slightly more moisturizing and heavier than jojoba oil.
Among ordinary oils, it's also on the heavier side, so it's recommended for dry skin.
It's a cold-pressed, unrefined oil.
It's affordable in price.
It can be used all over the body, including hair, skin, and face, so it's very versatile.
I tend to use about one bottle every two months.
ConsIf you have oily skin or prefer a drier, matte finish, this may not be the best recommendation for you.
It doesn't have any fair trade certifications.

ProsIt has a light and refreshing texture with a medium level of oil content.
The dropper makes it easy to dispense the right amount.
It absorbs smoothly and comfortably.
If you lightly touch your hair while it's still wet, it will remain soft until the next day. There are no bad hair essence ingredients that can cause acne on the neck or back.
Some people may dislike the fragrance, but it's a similar scent commonly found in oils extracted from seeds - a slight herbal, bitter, nutty, and mossy aroma. However, the fragrance dissipates quickly, so it's not bothersome after a short while.
ConsIt has a watery texture and moisture level similar to rosehip oil.
For extremely dry skin that needs substantial oil content, it may be a bit lacking.
The cap is stiff and difficult to open and close.
TipIf you find hand creams too thick and sticky when your hands are dry, try using this oil instead. Even after washing your hands, the soft, supple feeling will last longer than with hand cream.

ProsI bought this product to use when blow-drying my hair! I apply it before blow-drying, and my hair feels coated and the oil is evenly distributed.
ConsThe scent... the scent... the scent is quite disappointing... After applying, it's not great ㅠ It must be because it's 100% organic... maybe it's the natural scent of the ingredients... And for those with oily skin, I wouldn't recommend it!! The oiliness can be very visible.

Pros4.5 stars
It has a slight oily scent that lingers only on the nose, making it a comfortable texture.
I purchased it because although I had been using rosehip separately due to the niacinamide, I missed the hydration.
I'm satisfied with it.
I'm using it as a mist-toner-(niacinamide+zinc)-(arbutin+HA)-3 drops of oil+a bit of mist-cream.
As you can see, it becomes almost watery when using the mist-toner-serum2, but it gets nicely absorbed. Even after applying the cream, my skin doesn't feel dry in the heater wind tonight.
It maintains moisture while providing just the right amount of oiliness. Now my basic skincare routine is settled.
ConsIt has poor spreadability, so I'm using it by mixing a pump of mist or a fingertip-sized amount of toner. Oils are usually like that... It's more watery than the rosehip I used before.
TipWhen the spreadability is poor, try mixing it with a mist (I use a mineral spring water mist) or a toner (I use a hyaluronic acid toner) like I do. Just mixing a little bit makes it spread well. But be careful not to make it too runny!! (It can be a bit more than the photo, the center is the mineral spring water mist)
Mixing it with a mineral sunscreen also helps prevent dryness.

Pros The given text discusses the author's experience with the Ordinary Argan Oil, including its price, comedogenic rating, moisturizing and anti-inflammatory properties, and its effects on skin elasticity and absorption.
The key points are:
- The Ordinary Argan Oil has a reasonable price and suitable volume for the author's needs.
- The oil has a comedogenic rating of 0, which means it does not clog pores, despite the author's previous hesitation to use argan oil due to oily skin concerns.
- The oil provides good moisturization and has anti-inflammatory benefits, helping to calm the author's mask-induced breakouts.
- The oil seems to improve skin elasticity and reduce the appearance of wrinkles, in addition to providing good overall hydration.
- The oil is well-absorbed, though not as lightweight as squalane.
Cons I feel a sense of guilt about using this natural product made through arduous labor from the endangered argan fruit. However, I've heard that argan oil production actually helps preserve the trees, as it doesn't require cutting them down. As a consumer, I'll do my best to be mindful and responsible in my consumption.
Tip ★For those with oily skin like mine or those who use a lot of skincare products★
The moisturizing properties of argan oil itself are quite high, so if you use too much cream, the breakouts may be due to over-nourishment, not the oil itself. I recommend either reducing one step of your existing skincare routine or mixing the argan oil with a gentle, non-functional product.
★Blending with Squalane★
If you want to use it without feeling too heavy, I often mix one drop of argan oil with two drops of squalane oil. This allows for lighter absorption while still providing a light moisturizing effect.
