First, my skin type is combination leaning towards dry, and sensitive. In the winter, my skin tends to get particularly dry, so I pay a lot of attention to moisturizing and am very conscious of the ingredients. I generally prefer water-based or lotion-type cleansers over oil cleansers, but since I was selected for the Hwahae Trial Reviewer program, I got to try this product. The ingredients are good, and most importantly, the cleansing was not irritating to my skin. I always do a double cleanse, and sometimes with other products, even after cleansing, there would still be some residue left on my skin that would make my foundation look uneven. But with this cleansing oil, there was no residue left at all after cleansing. I felt the cleansing power was excellent for such a gentle product. However, for heavy eye makeup, it may not remove it completely, so I recommend using an eye makeup remover first, and then using this product for the rest of the face. Even with my Etude House mascara, this oil alone couldn't remove it completely. But after cleansing, I didn't feel any dryness, so I think this cleansing oil would work well for dry skin types too. The key with cleansing oils is the emulsification process. Be sure to wash your hands thoroughly before using, and with dry hands, roll the oil on your skin for about 20 seconds. Cleansing for too long can clog pores and cause breakouts. Then, add a bit of water to emulsify the oil. Doing this thorough rolling motion helps remove dead skin cells and whiteheads, which I was really satisfied with. Since I don't like any residual feeling, I follow up with a cleansing foam as the second step.
ConsAs for the downsides, the pump on the packaging is extremely stiff. When you press down, a large amount comes out at once, which was a bit inconvenient. It would be better if the pumping action was smoother. The formula is much thinner than typical oil cleansers, almost watery in consistency. Because of the thin, runny texture, it can sometimes just pour out after pumping. To avoid wasting product, be careful to control the amount when pumping and prevent it from just flowing out.
TipFor my combination/dry skin, I haven't experienced any dryness from using this product yet. However, for those with very dry skin, there is a possibility of feeling some tightness after using this. So during the winter, it's essential to follow up with a cream, essence, or ampoule to properly moisturize and prevent dryness. Dry skin can potentially lead to clogged pores and breakouts, so the additional hydration is important.

I used to have atopic, sensitive, and dry skin, but now my skin type is atopic, sensitive, and oily. Since I mostly work and stay at home, I don't have many opportunities to go out with makeup on, so I haven't tried oil cleansing that often. Normally, I just quickly cleanse with a foam cleanser, rinse with water, and rush to apply my skincare. But lately, I've been using a cleansing oil first, followed by a light cleansing with a foam cleanser, and then applying my skincare. I was really surprised that my skin no longer feels tight and dry after this routine. Even if I occasionally forget to apply my skincare, I don't feel the dryness as much as before! Secondly, I was amazed that my stubborn milia started to disappear around 3-4 days after using this product. I can't say for sure if it's because of the additional cleansing step or the oil itself, but the fact that my milia have calmed down is already a huge plus for me. Most importantly, this cleansing oil rinses off really well with water, unlike the other oils I've tried before. With those, my skin would still feel slippery even after washing with water, so I had to use soap or felt uncomfortable touching the cleansing foam or the faucet. But this product washes off nicely with just water, which I really appreciate. Even though I have extremely sensitive skin that turns red with the slightest touch, I was able to use this product without any irritation or breakouts, which is the best part for me. Since I do a pre-cleanse with water before using the oil, I can't accurately describe how well it cleanses, but overall, I'm very satisfied with this product.
ConsWell, I can usually use just about anything, but this oil has one downside... the pump is really annoying. It's quite thick and doesn't just smoothly dispense, but rather comes out with a big 'PLOP!' (SPLASH!) and ends up all over the back of my hand, splattering everywhere. It's a real mess! Haha. If it weren't for that, I haven't really found any other issues with the product so far.

Before the review, I would like to let you know that although I received the product from Hwahae, the opinions expressed here are entirely my own. First of all, the Reduwo Refreshing Time Cleansing Oil is not overly heavy and has a slightly watery texture. The best part was the soft and smooth feeling on my skin after massaging it on my face and rinsing it off. As I have an oily skin type, I always do a double cleanse, and I was amazed that there was no tightness after using the Reduwo oil for the second cleanse, unlike when I used just a foam cleanser. The scent is somewhat refreshing, like vitamins.
ConsThe watery texture sometimes causes the product to flow out of my hands when I pump it, which is a bit disappointing.
TipTo avoid wasting the product, I found that pumping it onto a non-absorbent cotton pad and then massaging it on my face works well, as it doesn't drip out of my hands.

While not particularly sensitive, I used to have atopic dermatitis in my childhood, and sometimes my skin around the mouth area becomes atopic again due to instant foods or lifestyle habits. So it's a dry, acne-prone skin type. โ๏ธThe best part, aside from everything else, is the sebum & blackheads!! I've been fooled countless times, believing claims that blackheads would be extracted, but this one really works!!!!! As you roll it, little blackhead plugs start appearing one by one in your hand, and it's so satisfying ๐๐ โ๏ธCleansing power Honestly, the base makeup is completely wiped off. However, waterproof mascara and eyeshadows with pearls leave a bit of a residue around the eyes. I always do double cleansing, so it wasn't an issue for me, but those with sensitive skin should keep this in mind. โ๏ธSpreadability, viscosity As an oil-based product, the spreadability is about the same as others, but the water-based formula feels a bit lighter and glides on more smoothly. I personally preferred the lighter, more effortless feel. (You do need to be careful when pumping it out) โ๏ธFragrance I intentionally sniffed it, but there's no particularly strong fragrance. Products without added fragrances can sometimes smell unpleasant, but this one has a subtle lemon? orange? scent. It's not intrusive at all, unlike the smell of citronella or mosquito repellent sprays. It's a mild, unobtrusive fragrance. I'll add more if I have any additional thoughts after further use.
ConsThe downside is that the pump doesn't depress smoothly, and when you first press it, it gets stuck for a moment before suddenly spraying out like a water gun!!! Other oil-based products have a thicker, syrup-like viscosity, but this one is just like water. When I first pumped it out, it gushed out and dripped all over my hand, which was quite startling. ๐ณ You'll need to be careful and pump it gently.
TipAfter thoroughly washing your hands, gently roll it on your skin for 2-3 minutes. The friction heat from the rolling will open up your pores and bring out the blackheads!! If you roll too vigorously, it can be irritating, so use just the fingertips and roll very lightly and for an extended period of time.

I mainly used cleansing water before, but when I tried using a cleansing oil, the tightness around my cheeks and mouth area was definitely gone. I enjoy using strong point makeup, and I often felt pain when removing it, but this time, I only had to pump it a couple of times and gently rub it all over, and it came off easily without any irritation. I don't like strong cosmetic fragrances, but this one isn't overpowering and has a gentle feel to it.
ConsThe lack of viscosity means that when I pump it onto my hand, it just runs down, making it a bit difficult to use. Even after massaging it in and rinsing with lukewarm water, there's still a slightly heavy oily feeling left behind.

I was using cleansing water in the summer... as a combination dry and oily skin type, using a pore foam cleanser after would leave my skin feeling a bit tight, but using this product, I didn't have that tightness. I've tried several cleansing oils before, but they either didn't have good cleansing power or were too thick and sticky, making them hard to spread. I briefly learned how to make a homemade cleansing oil in a craft class, and that was the best one for me so far. This product has similar cleansing power but is lighter, and I think it's much better, especially in this hot weather when storage can be an issue.
ConsAs mentioned, the lightweight texture is good, but it also means it's easy to spread too much. *Be careful when pumping it out* The instructions say to use 2-3 pumps, but I think 2 pumps is the max. This isn't really a downside, but despite the product description, it's not completely fragrance-free. There's a slight tangy scent.
TipThis product seems better suited for oily skin types rather than dry skin. The lightweight texture makes it not too burdensome to use cleansing oil even in the summer.

I'll share my impressions after using it for 3 weeks. I have a skin type that's prone to acne, so I didn't use cleansing oils much. I tried it a couple of times before, but it didn't seem quite right for me, so I kept using my cleansing milk. But then my cleansing milk ran out, and I was sent this cleansing oil to try. The texture was a bit runny and flowed easily. The main advantage is that the ingredients are really great. And despite that, the cleansing power was still quite good. And the application, if I may call it that, felt smoother and more gentle than other cleansing oils I've used, so it seemed to be less irritating. Although I didn't use it for a long time, I didn't get any major breakouts or troubles on my skin. This experience has made me reconsider using cleansing oils again.
Cons1. Fragrance I thought it would be fragrance-free since there's no mention of fragrance, but it has a quite strong lemon scent. I'm not a big fan of lemon scents to begin with, and it bothers me every time I cleanse. For those who don't like lemon scents like me, this is not recommended. But for those who love lemon scents, this is highly recommended! 2. Pumping Because the texture is so runny, the pumping action kind of sprays/disperses the product. It gets stuck between my fingers every time I pump, so it might take some getting used to. But I think it'll be fine once I get used to it.

Cleansing Power The cleansing power was similar to regular cleansing oils. If you look at the photo on the right, it's in the order of tint, eyebrow, foundation, concealer, mascara fixer, and blush. It doesn't completely remove mascara or lip products, but the base makeup and the rest are mostly removed. You can use a point remover for the eyes and lips, and this product should work well. It was decent. 2. Skin Irritation I'm not very sensitive, but my skin has been a bit troubled lately, being dry. The product manual said it was a mild product, so there was no worsening of the troubled areas. However, the cleansing oil really stung my eyes. I rinsed it off immediately, but my eyes felt numb for a while. So I'm not sure if it's really that mild. Aside from that, there didn't seem to be much skin irritation. While it's just a cleansing product, so you can't expect major skin improvements, it seems like a decent product that can be used without issues. But I had thought that chamomile flower extract didn't agree with my skin, and most products with that ingredient didn't work well for me. So I was a bit worried, but fortunately, it worked out fine. Check if there are any ingredients in the product that don't agree with your skin.
Cons1. Texture and Pumping First of all, the texture is almost like water, very runny. So when you apply it to the face, it immediately runs down, which is a bit inconvenient. But since it's an oil, it's something you can tolerate to some extent. However, the pumping is really stiff. So when you press it once, a large amount comes out forcefully, making it difficult to control. That seems to be the most disappointing part. 2. Tightness I thought using an oil cleanser and wiping it off wouldn't cause any tightness, but after rinsing with water and some time passing, my cheeks felt a bit tight. The finish is very refreshing, and there's not much residue left behind. But because of that, there is a slight tightness. I think it's probably because my skin is dry. I would recommend this for oily skin types.
TipThe pumping is much stiffer and more inconvenient than expected, so it might be a good idea to change the bottle and use it. There are a lot of inexpensive and diverse empty bottles at Daiso. I've also transferred it to another container and have been using it. (This is the first time I'm leaving a review as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer, so I'm not sure how useful my review is, but I've written it based on my own experience. If you're looking for a mild cleansing oil or an average oil, it might be worth trying this product. But be sure to check the ingredients!)
