It emulsifies well and cleansing is thorough.
ConsFirst of all, the scent is quite unpleasant. Also, when using this, be sure to avoid the eye area during cleansing. If it gets in your eyes, it will sting. Cleansing is effective, but blackheads and sebum on the nose seem to be less effectively removed compared to other products.

(Used from 1025 to 1103) First of all, I have an oily skin type even in the winter. And my skin used to have very few blemishes...but as the weather gets colder, my skin has become easily irritated and often sensitive to even minor stimuli, so I'm trying to find products with less irritation and I'm quite concerned about it. I was already using the very mild Reducer Cleansing Foam really well. This time, through the Hwahae Trial Reviewer, I got to try the cleansing oil as well, and I had really high expectations. Although my face is oily, the sebum keeps constantly oozing and accumulating, and I often use the oil to remove the daily sunscreen (Dr.G Green Mild Up Sun) I use. The Reducer Cleansing Oil was quite lightweight compared to other oils I've used before, and despite the lightweight feel, it effectively removed the oil and sunscreen on my face without any trouble. Makeup also comes off well if I gently press a cotton pad and wait. The cleansing power is decent, and what's most important, since I have an oily skin type, the fact that the cleansing oil is lightweight is really great. It emulsifies well, and with a thorough water rinse, my skin feels soft and smooth without any residue... In my case, I can skip the second cleansing or just do it lightly, as the oily feeling is not left behind much. (But just to be safe, it's probably better to do the second cleansing thoroughly with the cleansing foam.) Finishing up with a small amount of the Reducer Cleansing Foam leaves my skin clean and fluffy without any greasiness. The ingredients are also mild and simple, and since there doesn't seem to be any ingredients that don't agree with me, I didn't have any trouble or breakouts while using it. (I think this product suits me well without much trouble, so I'm going to continue using it consistently. I'll add more details as I keep using it!!)
ConsI tend to place importance on using oils to melt and remove sebum, and I like to see visible effects like that. That's why I often use jojoba oil, which is similar to the skin's own lipids, and cleansing oils that contain jojoba oil. So I was a bit disappointed that the Reducer Cleansing Oil didn't feel as effective as using jojoba oil in removing blackheads and whiteheads that are visibly noticeable. And the pump was a bit stiff, so the oil would splatter and it was difficult to control the amount.

There's still a very faint oily residue, but when I use a cleansing towel, it leaves my skin feeling refreshed and I can apply my skincare routine. ๐I used to use a homemade cleansing oil made by a relative, but sometimes I would get small breakouts if I didn't cleanse thoroughly enough. But with this product, I haven't had any breakouts during cleansing. ๐The fragrance is absolutely wonderful - it's right up my alley!
Cons๐It's hard to control the amount and the oil just bursts out. ๐I have blackheads on my nose and a lot of whiteheads too. I tried using a refreshing oil to melt them, but I only saw a very slight effect. ๐When I do eye makeup with eyeliner, eyeshadow, and mascara, it takes a really long time to remove it all. I used to be able to cleanse it all off in one go, but now it takes forever! I recommend using an eye and lip makeup remover first, and then following up with your regular cleansing routine. ๐The mascara in the attached photo took about 20 wipes to fully remove.
TipSince the oil rinses off quite well with water, I don't think a double cleanse is absolutely necessary. I'd recommend just finishing with a cleansing towel.
