I used Dr. G's general adult sunscreen for a long time, but it was too dry and irritating, so I broke out. While searching for another product, I settled on a baby product, and now I don't have any trouble. Plus, it's very moisturizing, so it's not drying.
ConsDr. G-Mild was a bit disappointing, but Baby is still suitable for adult skin.

This could be great for those struggling with a damaged skin barrier due to excessive cleansing.
ConsThere's a bit of a white cast, so your face looks slightly pale when applied. It's fine once it absorbs, but still whiter than other sunscreens.
TipThis is an excellent short-term product for when you want a light sunscreen that's easy to remove, especially if your skin barrier is compromised and a second cleanse feels too harsh.

I tried this product and I'm really satisfied with it. First off, Dr.G sunscreens are quite famous, but I was really disappointed with their brightening sunscreen because it was too drying, patchy, and pilled. That experience made me reluctant to use Dr.G products, but the positive reviews convinced me to give this one a try. The absorption is good and it doesn't feel bad when applied. It doesn't make my skin feel particularly dry, and it has a moisturizing effect that seems to work well for combination dehydrated skin. However, it can feel a bit greasy, so I'd recommend thoroughly removing excess oil or applying only a small amount on the T-zone. But since sun protection is necessary, I personally apply it generously and then remove the excess oil. As the name suggests 'baby' and it's marketed as gentle, I had high expectations, and it truly didn't cause any irritation. Unlike some sunscreens that can sting or irritate the eyes when applied incorrectly, this product didn't cause any eye discomfort at all. I also appreciated that it's a mineral sunscreen. While it's labeled as 'easy washable', I'm the type who prefers thorough cleansing, so I recommend double cleansing.
ConsDespite being labeled as 'easy washable', I found it a bit disappointing that it doesn't seem to wash off easily.

Perhaps because it's designed for babies, it has a moisturizing and slightly oily emulsion feel. For those with extremely sensitive skin, this might be the best sunscreen for 'flake-free skin'. I'd recommend it for those with baby-soft skin that usually absorbs products well. Also, I liked that it doesn't feel like it's clogging pores much. It seems suitable for skin prone to easily clogged pores.
ConsFirst off, the absorption is really, really poor. If you try to quickly rub it in, the sunscreen gets caught between skin texture and peach fuzz. You absolutely have to keep patting it in for it to somewhat sink into the skin. Due to its poor absorption, it naturally leaves a severe white cast. It does fade a bit over time, but even considering that, it's still quite noticeable. Above all, it seems difficult to use on skin with a lot of dead skin cells. This sunscreen tends to pill a lot, and if you add flaky skin to that... it's indescribable. Those who use mineral sunscreens will understand, but mineral sunscreens tend to make your skin feel increasingly dry as time passes after application. This sunscreen is no exception - after applying, your face feels constantly tight and uncomfortable, and it makes dead skin cells very visible. Personally, I found it a bit annoying that my face kept producing small amounts of white residue. Even with a solid skincare routine, the white residue still appears. If you apply more products before the sunscreen, it produces even more. Mixing it with a light, hydrating essence might be the best approach.
