When I apply harsh cosmetics, I get inflammation, itching, and tingling, so I usually avoid mixing multiple products or applying just anything. I bought this because it's a baby product and I trusted Dr. G sunscreen at the time, but ultimately, I don't recommend it. (I had previously purchased about 4 tubes of the popular green sunscreen for oily skin, but started getting blemishes from the second tube, so I stopped using it and switched to this product.) On the positive side, it didn't cause any blemishes. (Though I haven't used it long-term yet.)
ConsWhite cast Even when applied lightly without rubbing, the white cast is extremely severe. It's impossible to apply the proper amount. Pilling / Clogging Due to the severe white cast, I tried applying small amounts in layers and patting it in, but it still pills up and clogs pores and wrinkles terribly. I've only ever used mineral sunscreens due to eye sensitivity and sensitive skin, but the pilling with this one was shockingly bad. Not easily washable It absolutely doesn't come off with a first cleanse. I bought a baby product to avoid using strong cleansers like oils or milks, but it doesn't wash off with a first cleanse and I end up having to use an oil for a second cleanse. I wondered how parents would manage if they applied this to their babies.
