It's more about understanding its application and effects when applied to the skin. As soon as you apply it to your face, you'll feel a sudden warmth (which is a natural reaction). After application, there's a distinct scent left on your hands, so I recommend washing them immediately. To my knowledge, this is a product specifically designed for nighttime skincare routines. The texture and fragrance of this product might be quite polarizing. I bought this for its whitening and blemish-fading effects, but surprisingly, after using it for over 4 months, I noticed my skin texture became incredibly soft. Even more amazingly, those occasional pimples and small bumps stopped appearing! It has a slight metallic/sweet scent (be careful not to get it on your clothes). If it does get on your clothes, the smell lingers. I have acne-prone skin with hyperpigmentation. This product has become a staple in my routine due to its balanced oil content and noticeable results. The only drawback, if you can call it that, is that it feels like applying melted sugar syrup to your face. But is that really a disadvantage? Don't forget to apply sunscreen!

At first, it feels slippery like applying oil and doesn't seem to absorb well. However, as you continue using it, you'll notice it absorbs well into the skin and helps refine your skin texture. Great value for money! While other vitamin C products can be pricey, this one is affordable and has only two ingredients. The scent might be polarizing. Also, the texture feels oily and doesn't absorb well, so you need to pat it into your skin quite a bit.
