  It's convenient to use as you can apply it like an essence after shampooing without rinsing. After application, my hair feels more settled. I've been using this product consistently since before it was reformulated.

  Cons

  There's nothing I find disappointing about this product. I'm completely satisfied with it. Highly recommended!

  Tip

  It works best when applied immediately after towel-drying your hair post-shampoo. When I had straight hair, I would apply it and then blow-dry. Now that I have a perm, I use it like a leave-in essence.

  I first tried this when it came with my hair dye and liked it, so I looked it up. It feels sticky at first, but once it absorbs, it's not. It gives my hair a calm, settled feeling. The price isn't bad either. I apply it to damp hair after towel-drying.

  Cons

  Controlling the amount is crucial. I have long, color-treated, permed, damaged hair, and usually most essences get fully absorbed no matter how much I use. But with this one, if you apply too much, it makes your hair clumpy.

  Pros

  I tried the Recovery Balm again after a long time since it was on sale. It works well for me, as I have thin hair with small, curly coils. It helps define the curls while keeping them tame. Being a balm, it has a thick consistency.

  Cons

  Due to its nature, you need to wash your hands after application. I prefer this heavier texture over a lighter one, so I'm willing to deal with that.

  I use it after towel-drying my hair, before it's completely dry.

  Usually my hair would turn into a Hagrid-like mess after drying, but just one use of this product made it noticeably calmer. The floral scent is lovely too!

  Cons

  The only downside is that you have to apply it with your hands, so they get a bit messy. Other than that, it's all great!

  Pros

  As someone with an oily scalp, I'm quite sensitive to product buildup. But with this, there's absolutely no buildup at all! I love that the rich cream formula feels less greasy than oil-based essences I've used before. Compared to emulsion-type hair essences, it keeps my hair looking neat and tamed for much longer. I think I'll stick with this until I find something even better. It's the most satisfying product I've tried so far among all the ones I've used.

  Cons

  There's nothing particularly bad about it. You might need to use a bit less compared to emulsion-type products. Oh, and because of its thick consistency, when traveling, you can only decant it into jar-type containers. It's a bit disappointing that you can't put it in pump bottles or squeeze tubes.

  The fragrance is absolutely divine! I can't stop burying my nose in my hair to inhale the scent. It also tames my hair beautifully, leaving me completely satisfied.

  I used to think there were some drawbacks, but now that I've mastered the right amount to use, it's simply perfect. I can't find any flaws anymore.

  For the ideal application, split your hair into two sections and apply about half a fingertip's worth of product.

It makes my hair silky smooth and manageable - I'm completely smitten! I tried a sample first and loved it so much I had to buy the full size. It has a slight nourishing feel, which I think will be perfect for fall and winter too.
