  As an aqua mint product, it had an excellent cooling effect. Other than that, nothing particularly stood out.

  Cons

  The first thought that crossed my mind when I used it was that it's quite strong. I was worried it might sting if it got into my eyes. Though I should mention, I'm especially prone to getting shampoo in my eyes when washing my hair.

  Tip

  For an enhanced cooling effect, leave it on for about 5 minutes before rinsing. You can easily pass the time by brushing your teeth or washing your face.

The mop pad on my steam mop used to smell no matter what I washed it with, but when I use this shampoo, there's absolutely no odor.

  Cons

  1. It doesn't seem particularly effective at removing dandruff. 2. If it gets on your face, you might feel a burning sensation where the shampoo touched. It was fine on my scalp, but it seems to irritate more sensitive skin.

  It's incredibly refreshing! You know that feeling when you put toothpaste on your scalp? I have seborrheic dermatitis, so I've been prescribed medicated treatments at the hospital before. This shampoo gives me that same 'ahh' cooling sensation after washing my hair! Even my forehead and neck where the shampoo touched feel cool. I used it after a workout when I was really overheated, and the shampoo really helped bring my temperature down. My sensitive, seborrheic scalp tends to get red, itchy, and often feels gunky - it's quite troublesome. But this shampoo cools it down nicely and doesn't make it greasy quickly, so I'm very satisfied.

  If it touches areas with sensitive skin, the cooling sensation can feel quite intense and might cause a slight stinging.

  Tip

  Rinsing with lukewarm water enhances the cooling effect. I'd avoid using cold water though, as it might make your head feel numb.
