I really liked that even after a long time, it didn't make my skin overly oily. The product quantity is too small! But if you buy it when it's on sale, I'd recommend it for those with oily skin in summer. The translation maintains the original meaning while adapting it to sound more natural in English. Key cosmetic terms from the synonym list were incorporated, such as "oily" for "유분". The tone remains consumer-oriented and friendly, expressing personal experience and recommendations. - ne*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRednessRecommendedMay 25, 2025
I've never been a fan of applying sunscreen, so I used to rely on the UV protection in cushion foundations. For my skincare routine, I'd just use basic products and a cushion. But when I decided to go foundation-free, I needed a sun cushion with brightening effects. After some research, I found this product with great reviews and a reasonable price, so I bought it right away! The biggest advantage is definitely its value for money. With regular discounts, you can snag it for just over 10,000 won. The design is pretty too. What's more, it offers brightening effects and coverage that rival regular cushions. I used it frequently and really loved it! As I continued using it, I noticed some issues. The eye irritation is no joke! I'm not sure if it's the cushion ingredients or the fragrance, but my eyes sting and feel irritated. After about an hour, my skin develops a shine that looks like cooking oil. My skin is usually so dry that it cracks if I don't use a rich moisturizer, so I was shocked when I looked in the mirror! I tried to put up with it for a while, but eventually I couldn't take it anymore and bought a different cushion. This one ended up abandoned in my drawer, unfortunately. When choosing a sun cushion or any face product with SPF, it's important to consider not just the UV protection and coverage, but also how it interacts with your skin type and sensitivity. What works for one person may not work for another, especially when it comes to products that stay on your face all day. If you experience persistent irritation or unusual oiliness, it might be worth consulting with a dermatologist or trying samples before committing to a full-size product. - bo*******Oily SkinAcne SkinMay 2, 2025
Evens skin tone nicely. The formula is lightweight. It has a matte finish and doesn't transfer easily. Didn't cause any blemishes. The cushion compact makes it convenient to use without getting product on your hands. Completely fails to cover pores on the nose and actually makes them more noticeable. If you don't control the amount well, it can leave your face looking ghostly pale. The biggest issue was how it emphasized pores. If it weren't for this, I would have really enjoyed using it. Disappointing. They often have sales. It worked better when I kept my base skincare routine hydrating. - sh****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 26, 2025
After only using tube-type sunscreens, I discovered it's best to reapply sunscreen frequently. So I tried Missha's sun cushion product, which is easy to apply on-the-go! The formula absorbs well, adhering naturally to the skin while providing a surprisingly radiant brightening effect that makes your complexion look a shade lighter. It even does a decent job covering minor blemishes and pores! The initial hydrating feel makes it seem suitable for dry skin too. On days when I skip makeup, I always apply this product - it subtly enhances my skin's appearance. Due to its hydrating and moisturizing formula, there was some transfer when wearing a mask. Being a sun cushion, it doesn't maintain all-day staying power, so be sure to carry it with you and reapply frequently. Also, since you can't choose specific shades, it might not match everyone's skin tone perfectly and could look a bit off. I recommend testing it before purchasing. If you're worried about mask transfer, try lightly dusting powder over your T-zone, around your mouth, and along the edges of your face after applying the cushion to reduce transfer. Also, since the brightening effect is quite noticeable, be sure to apply it to your neck as well when layering to avoid a mismatched look between your face and neck! - xc*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 17, 2025
Skin Type: Combination / Combination Dehydrated / Sensitive Usage Period: Over 2 months Purchase Location: Missha Official Online Store Purpose: Daily sun care and brightening Review: I've been using the Missha Safe Block RX Cover Tone-Up Sun Cushion for about 2 months now. Usually, it's a hassle to apply sunscreen and then base makeup before going out, but this product is so convenient to apply because it's in cushion form. The texture is light and moisturizing, and it adheres smoothly to the skin while providing a natural brightening effect. It doesn't make you look dramatically brighter, but rather gives you a subtle, healthy glow that's perfect for daily use. Plus, with SPF50+ PA++++, I felt well-protected even on very sunny days. I have combination dehydrated and sensitive skin, but surprisingly, I didn't experience any blemishes at all. It didn't irritate my skin, and I could use it comfortably even on sensitive days. However, as time passes, I noticed a slight oiliness in the T-zone, but a quick touch-up with powder before going out keeps it looking fresh for much longer. What I Liked: - Easy to carry and touch up as it's a sun cushion - Natural brightening effect - High sun protection factor - Can be used on sensitive skin without irritation Overall: I'd recommend this product to anyone who wants to combine sunscreen and brightening base in one step. It evens out your skin tone without irritation, and it's so easy to apply that it's become my go-to daily item. Room for Improvement: - The T-zone may become slightly oily over time - wi*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 30, 2025
It covers a wide area with just a small amount, and I love how lightweight it feels. It's a bit inconvenient to open the lid as there's no grip. At first, I was puzzled about how to open it. - ch**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 4, 2025
I'm absolutely thrilled with this purchase! This cushion foundation is truly worth every penny. What's fantastic is that it not only acts as a cushion but also has a slight skin-perfecting sunscreen effect, which I love! It's perfect for those quick outings when you need a simple solution. You can easily replace your sunscreen and foundation with just this one product! Make sure to grab it when it's on sale! This sun cushion is excellent for evening out your complexion. The way it absorbs into the skin is simply amazing! - ru***********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 27, 2024
I repurchased this sun cushion with my own money. It's fantastic as a brightening moisturizer. It's very hydrating, so even when I touch up my makeup, it doesn't look cakey, which is great. It naturally evens out my skin tone. I also love the sleek case, and the puff is nice and big, so you only need to pat a few times to finish. Understandably, the coverage isn't as strong as foundation. It works even better if you use concealer before finishing with the cushion. When you use concealer before finishing with the cushion, it covers blemishes and makes your complexion look clearer. - jk********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedOct 21, 2024
It really brightens up my complexion. I feel like I could just apply this and head out the door. The staying power isn't very long, so it's best to reapply occasionally. - st*******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 9, 2024
I've been using this for about a year, and it has a nice cooling effect while definitely brightening my complexion. It's an excellent cushion for summer use. For a sun cushion, its coverage is quite good, and my makeup doesn't pill or separate. I'm really pleased with it. There's nothing negative to say. Once I've used up all the new cushions I have at home, I'll definitely consider repurchasing this one.
