It's amazing at covering blemishes and feels so hydrating. My friends tried mine and kept asking what it was because they loved it so much. At school, when I take a nap and wake up, I usually need to touch up my makeup, but this works great for that too. I used to be a cushion nomad, but I've finally found my holy grail! First off, the case is absolutely gorgeous. I've never seen a cushion compact this beautiful before. It's so luxurious! The built-in cushion puff is octagonal, matching the angular design of the case. The inside has a steel plate with star-shaped holes. True to its 'High Cover' name, I was thrilled with how well it covered my skin, which had been ravaged by mask-wearing and the effects of allergy season. Despite being high coverage, I was pleasantly surprised by how moisturizing it felt when I first applied it. After laying down the base, it gave me a natural glow while still finishing matte. The application and finish are absolutely GOOD! And let's talk about its long-wear capabilities! I applied my makeup at 1 PM and when I got home around 10 PM, there was no breakdown except where my mask had been. Impressive! There was some pilling and it tended to settle into pores around the nose area. This was quite disappointing. For those with visible pores, I recommend patting the product into those areas rather than swiping. Press it in firmly for better coverage!

While the staying power is moderate to good, the coverage is excellent! I noticed the cushion tends to lift slightly when touching up in the afternoon. The coverage is truly outstanding compared to other cushions! As a cushion nomad, I've tried many, but this one covers blemishes effectively with just a light pat. Despite its excellent coverage, it's surprisingly hydrating, leaving the skin feeling moisturized. It also excels in preventing patchiness and caking. As with most high-coverage products, it can feel a bit heavy on the skin, which is slightly disappointing. Even when trying to apply it gently, it's challenging to achieve a sheer, base-only look. It's not ideal for those who prefer a very light makeup application. It's great as a touch-up cushion too! The cushion feel is absolutely fantastic. It feels so nice when you pat it onto your face. You don't need to load the cushion with a lot of foundation; even a small amount spreads evenly over a large area. The coverage is excellent when you first apply your makeup. It even conceals that one spot that always bothers me, making it barely noticeable. This is my first time trying it, so I only bought the single item, but I think I'll be purchasing it regularly from now on. While everyone's skin is different and experiences with cosmetics vary, I found that I needed to touch up my makeup quite frequently. It might be due to the summer heat causing perspiration, but aside from that, I'm completely satisfied with everything else. To maintain hydration, I like to place a cotton pad soaked in toner on my face for a moment before starting my makeup routine. This helps to keep my skin much more moisturized throughout the day.

I've been searching for a product with excellent coverage since I still have some blemishes and quite a few acne scars. After watching a video by beauty YouTuber Jo Hyo-jin (I think?), I decided to buy this cushion, and it truly has the best coverage among all the products I've tried so far! Usually, high-coverage products tend to feel matte and heavy, but this one doesn't. It gives a nice glow that looks beautiful and lasts for a long time. Also, I love that when you press the cushion, it doesn't directly touch the product. Instead, it goes through a filter first, which prevents too much product from coming out and makes it easier to control the amount. I've heard that this metal filter or mesh is more hygienic too! I didn't really find any downsides, but if I had to pick something, maybe the case is a bit thick? But it's pretty, so I'll let it slide. For areas that need more coverage, I gently pat the product on first. If it looks a bit uneven, I apply it to the rest of my face as well. Every time I take it out of my bag, my friends used to criticize me for not cleaning the outside of my makeup case, calling it dirty. But this one? The exterior and the actual product are both amazing! It's just so luxurious! What's the point of being pretty if the quality is poor and you end up tossing it? This has become my go-to item that I've been using constantly lately! Like most cushions, it tends to accentuate blemishes and uneven texture. Remember, it's a cushion product, not a concealer. For Hwahae users who want more thorough coverage, I suggest using it alongside a concealer. Apply concealer first, then layer this on top and blend for a gradient effect. True to its name, the coverage is really excellent! Since I have a lot of acne scars, I prioritize coverage when choosing foundations or cushions, and this one definitely conceals better than others. (You can see the amazing coverage in the photo, right?) Usually, products with this level of coverage tend to be too matte, making them difficult to use except in summer. However, this one has just the right amount of moisture, which I'm very satisfied with. I've only heard of VDL before, but my first purchase exceeded expectations, so now I want to try their other products too. The color is also a perfect match for me, so I think I've found my holy grail cushion. Highly recommended! There's nothing particularly disappointing, but since it's similar to my skin tone, it might lack a bit in terms of brightening effect. However, I think if it were any lighter, the coverage would inevitably decrease, so I'm planning to use it with that in mind. I was looking for a product that could effectively cover my blemish scars and dark spots. This one is perfect! It's packed with essence, has great coverage, and comes in a beautiful case. It applies smoothly without being too thick, and you can easily control the application. The absorbs well and feels hydrating. Thanks to its high essence content, it doesn't pill during touch-ups and the makeup stays put nicely. While the case is pretty, it's a bit bulky and takes up more space in my bag than I'd like. Also, the price point is slightly on the higher side.
