The hydration was surprisingly good, so much so that I didn't feel any deep dryness even when using this product alone.
ConsPerhaps due to its excellent hydration, after some time, the combination of the serum and my natural oils became quite uncomfortable. Strangely, when I used only this product, it seemed to make my skin produce oil faster and more abundantly. Despite wanting to continue using it, I had to stop because I kept getting small blemishes.

It's likely to work well for those whose skin agrees with it. It's not greasy and feels refreshing.
ConsThe price is quite high. The amount dispensed with each pump is rather small. Unfortunately, the ingredients don't seem to suit my skin well, as I'm experiencing some blemishes.

It seems the squalane oil might be the culprit. I'd advise those who don't react well to squalane to be cautious when choosing this product. I used it thinking squalane was one of the safer oils for folliculitis, but it turns out it doesn't suit my skin. However, I've always wanted to try Oolu's Birch Ato products as the birch ingredient works well for me, and the other ingredients look fine except for the squalane. That's why I was particularly interested in trying the Birch Ato Moisture Cream, which seems to have the least amount of squalane. Although it's a serum and quite lightweight, I applied it right after cleansing. The squalane still seems to be an issue for me. Worried about potential reactions, I only used it alone once. After that, I applied it after prepping my skin with Cosrx toner. I layered it twice, and despite it being summer, my skin didn't feel too tight. The pump bottle is hygienic. When applied, it feels moisturizing with a fresh finish. My skin felt comfortable, and I haven't experienced any blemishes so far, which is great.
ConsThe price is quite high for the amount you get. Even though the ingredients are good, it seems too expensive. It rarely goes on sale and isn't easily accessible. The opaque container also makes it difficult to use up every last drop. When I applied it after using Torriden Hyaluronic Acid Toner, I experienced some blemishes. It seems these two products don't work well together.

Fragrance: As someone sensitive to strong cosmetic scents, I found this fragrance-free product comfortable to use. 2. A little goes a long way for hydration. One pump is sufficient for an adult woman's face. 3. The pump bottle design makes it convenient to use (though the opaque container makes it hard to see how much product is left, which is a drawback).
Cons1. Itching and blemishes: I have sensitive skin and an irregular lifestyle, so I'm prone to skin issues when changing products. 2-3 days after use, I felt itching on my face. I continued using it, thinking it might be related to my occasional summer seborrheic dermatitis. By day 4, the itching was intense, and I noticed blemishes on my cheeks and forehead. I rarely get blemishes without a clear cause, so I stopped using the product. The itching gradually subsided over the next 2 days, confirming it was likely the cause. 2. For combination-oily skin, using more than one pump feels a bit heavy (unsure if it's slow absorption or the formula's nature). 3. The opaque container design makes it impossible to see how much product is left, which is a drawback.
Tip- The personal handwritten note from the staff made me wonder if this company takes extra care in product management (personal opinion). - I thought this might be suitable for babies who don't use many cosmetics. However, I wouldn't recommend it to those prone to seborrheic dermatitis... (Despite usually using products for sensitive, blemish-prone skin, the itching from this product was particularly difficult to handle).

It's packed with ceramides, which are great for rebuilding and protecting the skin barrier. It also contains 5% panthenol, a pantothenic acid derivative that's beneficial for inflamed skin, along with other gentle ingredients. The texture isn't too light, so it doesn't dry out quickly. While it doesn't have a super fresh finish, it's less sticky and leaves your skin feeling comfortably smooth.
ConsSkin condition: I have seborrheic inflammation, so even when my skin is at its best, I have mild redness and heat sensation below my cheeks. I'm not extremely dry, but I have dry skin (even after finishing with an oily feel after cleansing, I need to reapply moisturizer as time passes). About 1-2 hours after using cleansing foam, I get hive-like reactions (regardless of the product). When using cleansing balm, the area below my cheeks feels numb and blemishes appear. With cleansing oil, there's no blemishes but my face turns as red as a baboon's bottom. Using mineral or organic sunscreen causes a few red blemishes. Occasionally, I get one or two pustules. <5 minutes after use> After cleansing, I didn't use toner for the test. I applied it slowly twice and waited about 5 minutes. No itching / No stinging / No eye irritation / No blemishes / No heat or redness <1 hour after use> When there was no reaction after 5 minutes, I followed my usual routine: applying toner, my regular ampoule, moisturizer, ceramide cream + facial oil. About an hour later, I started feeling a subtle itch near my eyebrows and below my cheeks (where the seborrheic inflammation is worst and most sensitive). (Applying tea tree oil to the itchy areas helped a bit) <1 hour 30 minutes after use> The itching intensified, and gradually heat and redness appeared in the inflamed areas. After a while, both cheeks turned bright red, so I applied a generous amount of zinc cream to both cheeks. The itching subsided a bit as time passed (still slightly itchy), but the heat sensation persisted. When the heat gets really bad, my face turns extremely red, but it wasn't that severe, so I just went to sleep. <Next morning> The itching had completely subsided, and the heat had decreased significantly, but there was still a slight redness. - I don't think I can use this product alone without tea tree oil and zinc cream. The ingredients are good, and I've been interested in skin barrier lately, so I was really excited when I was selected to test this product. It's such a shame. I wonder if it's because it's my first time using a product with so much birch extract, but it seems to irritate my seborrheic inflammation rather than just causing blemishes, so I'm a bit scared to try it again. The reason I gave it 3 points despite it not working for me is because of the ingredients. I'm sure everyone knows that pantothenic acid is good for inflamed skin. If you can absorb its derivative, panthenol, along with ceramides, it would be really great for the skin barrier. I'm very disappointed that I can't use it, and I envy those who can use this product well.

Fragrance-free, making it suitable for those sensitive to scents. Gentle ingredients.
ConsIt's supposed to calm the skin, but it actually made mine dry and caused blemishes on my T-zone. I had to stop using it after just 3 days.
TipEveryone's skin type is different, so if it doesn't work for you, don't hesitate to discontinue use.

Additionally, the birch extract provides excellent hydration for the skin. I've always struggled with toners being too drying on their own, and using other ampoules would leave my skin too oily by morning. This serum, however, absorbs quickly into the skin without feeling excessively greasy, even when applied generously. It also greatly helped with skin soothing, significantly reducing redness. Overall, it appears to be a mild and effective product.
ConsI'm not sure if it's due to this product or just my hormonal cycle, but I noticed a few pustular blemishes appearing. I'll need to take a break for a few days and investigate the cause. While it seems to help with skin soothing, I didn't really feel like it was particularly effective in reducing existing blemishes.

It's moisturizing without being greasy. ○ Irritation: Absolutely no stinging, itching, or irritation when applying - it feels incredibly gentle! ○ Scent: As someone sensitive to fragrances, I find the scent very subtle! ○ Pilling or separation: I use a mineral sunscreen (Dr. G Green Mild Up Sun) and usually experience pilling or flaking when layering other serums, ampoules, or moisturizers (IOPE Derma Cica Cream) under my cushion foundation (which has a moisturizing formula and is mixed with ampoule). But with this ampoule, there's no pilling even without excessive layering! It's amazing!
Cons○ Blemishes: While it feels incredibly gentle, it might not suit my skin's oil and moisture balance or may not work well with my other products. From the second day, I started getting small bumps, and some larger pimples appeared sporadically. It's not a full-on breakout, but it's noticeable. The breakouts aren't limited to areas covered by masks (forehead, T-zone, eyebrows), so it doesn't seem mask-related. ※ I used it for about 2 weeks, only changing this ampoule in my routine (Dokdo Toner - Mediheal Tea Tree Ampoule - IOPE Derma Cica Cream - Dr. G Green Mild Up Sun). I only used cushion foundation once or twice, finishing with sunscreen.※ I don't have many other complaints! The amount seems small, but one pump is enough to cover the whole face smoothly, so it doesn't feel lacking in quantity when using it. As I'm testing this as part of The Hwahae Testers, I don't know the price, but if it's expensive, that might be a downside. ※ Due to phone issues, I couldn't attach photos, so I've tried to describe my experience in detail.※
TipAt night, I used two pumps for extra hydration in the morning. In the morning, I used one pump to avoid any excess shine. I think I can recommend this to those with dry and sensitive skin (though as someone with dry combination skin, it seems my oil-moisture balance wasn't quite right for this product).

Absorption: ♥♥♥♥♥ Hydration: ♥♥♥♥ Absorbs well: ♥♥♥♥♥ I've been using the Oolu Baby Serum for about 2 weeks. First off, like other serums, it has a slightly runny texture. It reminds me of that Tony Moly whitening serum from before... The texture is identical! It's not too thin, nor too thick - just perfect. When I first tested it on the back of my hand, it instantly made my skin super moisturized! It absorbed quickly on my face too, and above all, I loved how smoothly and effortlessly it glided on during application. As for hydration... well... it feels moisturizing right after application, but after a short while, it seems to get a bit dry.
ConsThe downsides are: 1. It's quite pricey 2. It doesn't suit my skin While I really like the product itself and it has great ingredients, I wonder why it doesn't work for my skin...
