  I used this product for a week as part of The Hwahae Testers review program. It seems to be the perfect skincare product for the summer season we're in now. I have combination dehydrated skin and always struggle with excess oil in the afternoon, so I'm very particular about my skincare routine. In summer, using just toner feels insufficient, but adding an emulsion makes my skin too oily. This week, I only used this serum, and it was perfect. The consistency is just right, not too sticky, and most importantly, it's gentle on the skin. It's an excellent product to use as a base in your skincare routine.

  Cons

  While it's great as a base product, its gentle nature means the effects don't last too long with just one application, so you might find yourself reapplying. Personally, I apply it once, wait about a minute, and then add a bit more to areas that seem to need extra attention.

  Pros

  I was selected as one of The Hwahae Testers to write this review :D While I don't have particularly sensitive skin, I feel confident in this product knowing it's made with gentle ingredients safe enough for newborns. When I received the package, I was touched to find a handwritten letter inside, not just a printed one^^ I love that it comes in a pump bottle, which keeps everything hygienic. It's also fragrance-free, making it suitable for everyone without any scent preferences. When dispensed onto the back of my hand, it has a consistency that flows but isn't watery - it has a slight viscosity that helps it stay in place.

  Cons

  While it's good for hydration, it doesn't deeply nourish the skin. I felt like it only worked on the surface and didn't penetrate to provide deep moisture. (I don't mean it just sits on top of the skin though!) As a result, the moisturizing effect doesn't last long, which was disappointing for someone like me who struggles with deep dryness.

  - No noticeable scent. - It's a lightweight product. - Provides good hydration. - Perfect for a quick morning application.

  Cons

  - There's a slight alcohol smell when first applied (unavoidable though). - While it's lightweight, it doesn't last long. (Skin feels dry after a while.) - It's moisturizing, but not a hydration powerhouse.

  Tip

  The lightweight formula and lack of fragrance make it seem ideal for use on children. However, I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for intense moisture or hydration in your evening routine. It's best suited for a light morning application. There's a distinct scent similar to alcohol when you first apply it, but it dissipates quickly!

  Pros

  I discovered this product while struggling with contact dermatitis for about two months. Suddenly, all my usual skincare products started irritating my skin, leading to dermatitis (exacerbated by mask friction). My doctor strictly prohibited using toners, so I only applied this serum and the Oolu Birch Ato Emulsion. 1. Hydration: True to its 'Baby Emulsion' name, it's incredibly gentle and provides satisfying hydration. It didn't cause pilling even when I applied makeup. 2. Non-irritating: While everything else stung, this didn't cause any discomfort at all. Since it doesn't irritate my eyes, I generously apply it around my eye area before bed.

  Cons

  1. The lasting power seems a bit lacking. My face quickly becomes dry again. 2. It doesn't address deep dryness. Neither this nor the emulsion can tackle the deep dryness. As someone with extremely dry skin, the deep dryness isn't resolved, and this alone isn't enough. I need to apply something else to lock in the hydration, but the Oolu Birch Ato Emulsion has a similar feel and doesn't help much either.

  Tip

  When your skin is in really bad condition: Apply a generous amount of aloe gel, let it absorb, then follow up with just this serum.

  Being a water-based type, it provides instant hydration but doesn't last long, so you need to apply it frequently. Since it's a baby product, I usually opt for more affordable options, but this serum seems a bit pricey.

  아무래도 워터타입이다보니 즉각수분공급은 되지만 지속력은 어려워서 수시로 발라줘야해요 아기꺼는 가성비로 쓰는편인데 세럼이다보니 가격은 좀 있는편인거같어요

  I think it would work well when used together with an emulsion once summer is over.

  In this hot weather, I loved how the texture felt light and moisturizing without being heavy. The instant cooling sensation was refreshing. It absorbed quickly, which was great for tackling sudden dryness. I also appreciated that it's a gentle, fragrance-free product suitable even for babies.

  Cons

  Since my child has blemish-prone skin, I tried it on them first. However, it didn't show significant effects on moisturizing blemishes. While it addressed immediate dryness, the lasting power seemed a bit weak. After some time, I could feel slight dryness on the surface, which was disappointing. Also, perhaps due to its safe, high-quality ingredients, the price felt a bit high for the amount, which was somewhat disappointing.

  Tip

  I found it's great for summer use when applied after cooling it in the refrigerator. When the kids' cheeks turned red from heat, I wiped off their sweat and applied this. It quickly calmed the redness and heat, making it an excellent light product for the hot summer months.
