It's great for soothing the skin. It feels refreshing even when applied to the body.
ConsUnlike the essential for oily skin, this one made the area above my upper lip burn after application. Not recommended for those sensitive to aloe. I plan to use it just as a body product. For a soothing gel, it doesn't seem very hydrating. Even when applied generously, it dries quickly, causing itchiness around the nose. It's okay to use as an overnight hydrating mask, but not ideal for daytime use before going out. Makeup doesn't adhere well over it either.

On days when my face feels oily, I love how the gel dries to a slightly textured finish, which feels refreshing.
ConsThe textured feeling I mentioned as a positive might make those with dry skin feel too parched. Even I avoid applying it around my eyes.

But when I stopped the antibiotics, my face completely flipped as a side effect. Blemishes appeared everywhere, from my face to my back. Extractions at the dermatologist's office only made things worse, with breakouts spreading to untreated areas. I tried several skincare clinics known for good extractions, but nothing helped. It only aggravated my skin, so I gave up and started home care. I switched to La Roche-Posay Effaclar line for cleanser, toner, essence, and moisturizer, but found it a bit harsh for my blemish-prone skin. Looking for alternatives to soothe the burning sensation, I heard aloe gel was best for calming inflammation. That's how I ended up buying this. I used to use Sidmool products a lot, but didn't find them particularly effective for acne, so I switched to other brands. I bought this without much expectation, but wow... it really calmed my skin down! It significantly reduced the heat in my face, helping with pustules and redness caused by irritation. I even use it on my back acne now, and it's definitely improved. I've found my holy grail! While I can't say it's solely responsible for the improvement since I use other products in my home care routine, things started getting better rapidly after I began using this aloe gel. I can guarantee its effectiveness! For best results, I recommend cleansing in the evening, using a gentle sheet mask for hydration and soothing, followed by a modeling mask to reduce heat, and then immediately applying this aloe gel.
ConsIt stings and burns when applied! The burning and tingling sensation lasts for about 5 minutes after application. At first, I wondered if it didn't suit my skin, but once it dries, the heat in my face subsides and the redness is significantly reduced. So I'm still not sure if it's right for my skin... I can't say it doesn't suit me because the effects are so good. Worried, I looked up reviews and found that it can sting due to the high aloe content. Some suggest applying only a small amount, but the soothing effect is so good that I apply it thickly even if it stings. I apply a thin layer first, then add a thicker layer on areas that need more calming. Do many of you feel the stinging sensation too? I hope my skin doesn't suddenly freak out later... haha!
TipHere's a pro tip: After cleansing, use a gentle sheet mask for hydration, then a modeling mask to reduce heat, and finally apply this aloe gel. It's amazing! It doubles the effect of reducing facial heat and redness!

Especially on days when you've been out a lot, applying it generously like a pack and then sleeping is great.
ConsJust applying a little bit normally can make it dry out and feel a bit tight afterwards.

The best thing would be to get real aloe vera and apply it directly to the face, but as a working person, I didn't have the courage to do it due to late night overtime. The heat sensation was definitely reduced and the blemishes were kept at bay, but there were also some downsides.
ConsSome people say they mix in oils, but that doesn't work. As the gel dries, it feels like it's sucking all the moisture out of my face. After using it on its own for a few days, my skin turned red and fine lines became visible all over my face. It felt so tight when I talked or smiled that it was uncomfortable. But I was only planning to use it briefly to just lower the heat sensation on my face, and I was shocked when I looked in the mirror.
TipI applied the aloe vera gel to the problem areas (my cheeks were the reddest for me) and covered it with cling wrap, leaving it on for about 20 minutes before rinsing it off. Using it like a wash-off mask and then cleansing thoroughly before applying lotion or cream, the moisture was retained and there was a soothing effect, which was very helpful.

The ingredients are good, the price is affordable, and it's a two-in-one deal. Those who suit aloe vera will likely find this product beneficial, so go ahead and purchase it.
Cons1. At night, I applied the moisturizing gel thickly and went to bed, but this... Oh no... It was like being in the jungle, I slept so well. 2. Just applying this alone made my skin feel hot and my eye area sting... It dried up and became dehydrated in no time. 😢
TipFor those who find it suitable, get this instead of the aloe vera essence.

They are just for moisturizing, no more, no less. I'm not sure about the soothing effect.
ConsIt is not recommended for dry skin. Due to the product characteristics, there is no oil, so after applying it and a few minutes pass, your face will become quite tight and dry. Side effects: Due to the nature of aloe, some people may experience a burning sensation on their face. In such cases, please switch to an aloe essential or purchase a different product.
TipIf your face becomes oily, apply aloe vera 96 on top. It will help balance the oil and moisture.
