  It feels refreshing when applied cold to the face. The ingredients are gentle, so it doesn't cause any blemishes.

  Cons

  It stings when applied. The more you use, the hotter it feels. It makes your face dry. Even when applied after a Madagascar mask, it's more drying than using Pareung alone.

  Tip

  Apply aloe vera and then use a cotton pad soaked in green tea as a mask. Using aloe vera as a hydrating mask seems to be more effective for the skin.

  It absorbs well and feels refreshing. My spouse and I have been using it, and now our baby uses it too after being born.

  Since it's for hydration, it can feel a bit dry. I'm layering an emulsion on top of this.

  1. It truly delivers on hydration. After cleansing and toning, I applied this product and it felt like I was feeding my skin with fresh, healthy aloe water. 2. It's versatile in its applications. I mainly use it right after toning to instantly replenish moisture, but it also works well mixed with various oils. Especially when combined with jojoba oil, it provided just the right balance of hydration and richness, leaving my skin feeling comfortable.

  Cons

  1. It's not sufficient on its own. No matter how many times I apply it, my face feels tight and dry after it absorbs. 2. The gel texture can pill depending on how much you use. It was fine when I applied a generous amount at once, but when I tried to layer smaller amounts, it pilled like dead skin cells. This makes it difficult to use on days when I need to wear makeup.

  Tip

  1. When I applied it thickly like a hydration mask on my freshly cleansed face during a shower, my skin felt incredibly soft afterwards. 2. When my lips were painfully dry, I first applied the Aloe Vera 96 Soothing Gel to my lips and around my mouth, then followed with lip balm. This helped speed up absorption and recovery.

  Pros

  A decent aloe gel, I suppose? I've used several bottles of the famous green aloe gel for oily skin from Sidmool before, but I couldn't really feel anything special about this product. I guess a higher aloe content doesn't necessarily mean more soothing effects.

  Cons

  Just average. If you're looking for something soothing, I'd recommend buying a different aloe gel instead of this one. This one tends to leave your skin feeling a bit dry after application.

  Tip

  Since it can be drying, make sure to follow up with a hydrating product right after using this.

  After laser treatment, my dead skin cells and redness were so severe! I searched for an aloe gel to soothe my skin. I heard somewhere that 'aloe vera leaf juice' is a great ingredient, so I looked for a product with that as the main component and without any harmful ingredients. That's how I ended up buying this. First of all, it's absolutely amazing. I apply it generously like a mask, and it visibly reduces dead skin cells and significantly improves my redness and tiny bumps. I'm now using it religiously as a mask after laser treatments, keeping it in the fridge for extra soothing effects.

  Cons

  For those with dry skin, using this alone will leave you feeling dehydrated. You'll need to layer a cream on top.

  Tip

  Applying this generously before a modeling mask works wonders for soothing the skin. It's even better when you keep it in the refrigerator!

  Pros

  Out of all the aloe soothing gels I've tried, this one seems to have the highest aloe content, which might be why it had the best calming effect. After popping a couple of blemishes and applying patches, once the skin starts to heal, I slather on this aloe gel. It seems to reduce redness and speed up skin regeneration faster than others.

  Cons

  There's nothing disappointing about the product itself. Even though aloe suits my skin well, because the aloe content is so high, if I apply too much at first out of excitement, my skin can feel a bit heated and tight. But this only happens initially, and after that, my skin adapts and I can apply generous amounts without any such sensation. This isn't a side effect or anything serious, but for those trying this product for the first time who might be concerned, I'd recommend starting with a small amount and gradually increasing the quantity as you use it.

  Pros

  I have super sensitive, seborrheic, and acne-prone skin. After using Sidmool's Aloe gel for oily skin, I switched to this one. It feels much gentler and seems to have better ingredients... (just my personal impression). The ingredients are really kind to the skin. The amount is reasonable for the price. When applied, it's excellent at soothing blemishes.

  Cons

  The quantity for the price is a bit disappointing. Using just the aloe soothing gel can be drying. Due to the high aloe content, there's a slight stinging and itchy sensation. After using it for a few days with controlled amounts, I noticed small bumps appearing, so I had to stop using it.

  Tip

  Store it in the refrigerator and apply when you need soothing - it helps reduce redness. If you have sensitive skin, make sure to do a patch test before applying it all over.
