The ingredients are gentle, so it doesn't cause any blemishes.
ConsIt stings when applied. The more you use, the hotter it feels. It makes your face dry. Even when applied after a Madagascar mask, it's more drying than using Pareung alone.
TipApply aloe vera and then use a cotton pad soaked in green tea as a mask. Using aloe vera as a hydrating mask seems to be more effective for the skin.

Just essence and aloe gel, that's all you need. Thanks to the aloe gel, I hardly got any blemishes.
ConsApply too much and you might feel like a fire-breathing dragon. I never understood what people meant by feeling heat after applying skincare, but I think this is it. It's probably because of the high aloe content. The sensation is brief and doesn't cause irritation, so it's not a big deal. However, I don't think it'll suit as many people as the Sidmool Aloe Essential.

Clean ingredients, no blemishes Among aloe gels, there are products with not-so-great ingredients, but I bought Sidmool's because of its clean formulation. It seems aloe suits me well as I didn't experience any blemishes. Even some products with clean ingredients can cause breakouts, but this one didn't, which I loved the most. 2. Non-sticky and quick absorption I bought this aloe gel because applying body emulsion in summer feels too sticky and stuffy, but not applying anything leaves my skin dry. This absorbs quickly without being sticky and solves the dryness issue to some extent, making it perfect for summer! 3. Soothing effect Since it's summer and I'm wearing short sleeves, I always apply this to my arms after showering. While the effect isn't dramatically visible, there's a noticeable difference compared to not using it. It does have a soothing effect. 4. Affordable price I bought it cheaply when Sidmool had a coupon, but it's great value for money. Even without a discount, it's so cost-effective that I never feel like I'm wasting money. It lasts quite long even when applying generously to the body! 5. Variants for different skin types Usually, drugstore aloe gels come in just one type, but this one has variants for dry and oily skin. I appreciated this attention to detail.
ConsFlimsy tube packaging Sidmool's tube packaging is subpar. I bought their hair pack before, and right from the first use, the top part of the tube wasn't sealed properly and leaked. With this aloe gel, the top part of the tube suddenly burst while using it. So I had to use a stapler to seal both products. I hope they improve this. I deducted one star because of this issue.
TipIt feels even more refreshing when used after keeping it in the refrigerator.

I didn't experience any blemishes, and when used before makeup, it helps the makeup adhere better.
ConsIt causes a tingling and burning sensation on the face. Those with super sensitive skin might find it uncomfortable to use.

I started using this product from the beginning of last summer. I was considering repurchasing it, especially since I was working out for about two hours a day for my diet, and I thought this would be perfect for a light application before exercising. I ended up buying it again and found it to be a solid, reliable choice. It didn't cause any skin reactions or severe blemishes, but it also didn't dramatically reduce existing ones. It was just a decent moisturizer, and being a gel type, it provided a noticeable hydration. Although I'm currently not working out due to a cold, I plan to repurchase this when I start exercising again.
ConsAfter misusing a benzoyl peroxide acne treatment, my skin became red, flaky, and my skin barrier was significantly compromised. When I applied this product along with my medication, I experienced a slight warming sensation and burning, which I hadn't really noticed before. There was also some redness. Now that my skin has recovered, I don't feel as much irritation, but I think those with more sensitive skin or those suffering from hives or atopic dermatitis might need to think twice before using this product.
TipIn my experience, hydrating gels are indeed lightweight, but the hydration doesn't last very long. That's why I personally use them in summer or before working out. For those with dry skin, an emulsion-type product might be more suitable.

It's not completely devoid of hydration. After applying, once the moisture evaporates, it leaves your skin feeling soft and powdery, not dry or parched. You might want to use a toner with a bit more glycerin. It's great for the peak of summer. Solid choice. The size is a bit large for just one season's use. I even apply it to my feet. It's refreshing - so cool, so very cool. Didn't particularly cause any blemishes.
ConsOn days when I've used certain products, it stings after cleansing and applying this - things like CNP Laboratory's BBB cream. I thought it was 99% aloe, but it's actually 96%. That's my mistake for not checking properly. While I didn't experience any blemishes, in the morning I'd notice sebum spread under the aloe gel layer. It's like the sebum couldn't penetrate through the aloe gel, if that makes sense. When cleansing, you first feel the slipperiness of the dissolving aloe gel, and once that's gone, you can feel your own sebum underneath. If you leave it on for too long, there might be a chance of blemishes, but I've only used it at night so I can't say for certain. It will definitely pill if used before makeup, and I don't think makeup would adhere well. For pre-makeup, Hydromax works well - it's silicone-based but suits me. This one's also just for peak summer use.

As someone who dislikes stickiness, this is the perfect product for me. It doesn't cause any blemishes, and I'm really pleased with it.
ConsWhen I applied it, I wondered if it might not suit my skin as it felt a bit irritating. It lacks oils and other nourishing ingredients when used alone, so it might be better to use it together with a facial oil.

I've been using it consistently all year round since last year, and I haven't had any notable issues. When I see blemishes or dark spots starting to appear, I apply a thick layer before bed, and within a few days, they're gone!
ConsI'm not sure if this is the case with all aloe-based cosmetics, but the finish doesn't seem to be as matte as I'd like. It has a slightly tacky feel to it, so I have to use less of it before applying my makeup.

My mother and sister both used it diligently. During that time, I changed my cosmetics a lot, so I can't say for sure if the calming effect was due to this, but I never had any trouble breakouts because of it, and it was very gentle, which I liked.
ConsHowever, due to evaporation, using this alone makes it slightly drying. Using it together with a moisturizing cream would likely be the best.

There are no blemishes, and since it's a gel-type, it absorbs well. The unscented formula suits me well as I don't like artificial fragrances, so I've been using this product for a long time.
ConsThis product alone is not enough to address dryness, and it needs to be used together with a lotion or cream.
