The product is frustratingly tall and thin, tipping over at the slightest touch on my vanity, which is quite annoying

It absorbs so well without clumping, and there's no worry about it feeling heavy or greasy, so I find myself reaching for it all the time

The only downside is that it tends to smudge a bit. While I love how it defines my lashes, it keeps smearing under my eyes, making touch-ups necessary throughout the day.

Out of all the mascaras I've used, this one takes the top spot for satisfaction. I dislike clumpy lashes or that 'spider leg' look, but with its metal brush, it's easy to apply just the right amount. It defines each lash beautifully, creating a natural look that I absolutely can't live without!

So, I've found that if it does clump, I just leave it as is and finish with an eyelash curler. This results in a beautifully clean and well-defined look.

It might be due to my lack of skill, but one downside is that it can sometimes clump a bit when applied. Since the applicator part is metal, if too much product comes out, it can lead to some clumping.

This is the strongest hold I've experienced among all the mascaras I've used. The fixing power is so impressive that you don't even need a separate mascara fixer or to curl your lashes afterwards.

The long wand makes it super easy to apply to your lashes. I like to use this as a base coat, then follow up with another mascara for extra volume and length. It works hard to create a fuller, longer lash look.

It's not the most precise application though. It doesn't coat each individual lash thinly or delicately.

I always test new mascaras at home on a day off. I've had panda eye disasters before, so I never use a new mascara on the day I buy it

I loved brush-less mascaras from other brands before, as they coated lashes to the roots well. I was excited to try Neogen's metal applicator, which seems more hygienic. The long handle allows for precise application like holding a pencil, and it reaches the roots easily. The application experience is really good

I only use mascara 2-3 times a week, so regular mascaras often get clumpy halfway through. I prefer samples or smaller amounts for hygiene reasons, so I'm happy with the Neogen quantity - I'll likely use it up before it gets clumpy

☆Curling effect:
I prefer natural-looking pretty lashes and dislike clumpy ones. Ironically, my lashes are full but thin and barely visible. Most mascaras clump at the roots after 2+ coats, but this one feels like it's combing the lashes. Even after three coats, there's no clumping and it curls well. I could even skip my usual eyelash curler

☆Staying power:
I was surprised to find no smudging, smearing, or flaking even after a nap. The curl held up well even after 3-4 hours, not drooping enough to need re-curling. This has the best staying power of any mascara I've tried

☆Removal:
I don't use a separate eye makeup remover, and it comes off easily with cleansing oil. I was worried about removal due to its strong staying power, but it's convenient that I don't need an extra cleansing step

Applying it to your lower lashes rather than the upper ones creates a more mysterious and beautiful look.

The price is quite steep, even though I'm testing it as part of The Hwahae Testers. Removing it is a real challenge! If it gets on your lower lashes, you'll have a tough time with makeup remover. While it sets well, there's still some smudging, and it's genuinely difficult to remove. I really wouldn't recommend this for beginners!

The brush is really impressive! It's hygienic and incredibly easy to clean. The application is fairly even. As it was my first time using this type of product, I found it a bit tricky at first, but I got used to it quickly. The packaging is simple yet luxurious, and you don't have to worry about leakage. It sets wonderfully - just give it a moment to dry and it becomes nicely firm.
