It absorbs so well without clumping, and there's no worry about it feeling heavy or greasy, so I find myself reaching for it all the time The product is frustratingly tall and thin, tipping over at the slightest touch on my vanity, which is quite annoying - jj*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 2, 2022
It's a great product that doesn't cause any discomfort in the eyes. Plus, it doesn't smudge easily. The packaging is quite pointy and large, making it a bit challenging to carry around as a portable item. - co*******Normal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 22, 2021
Out of all the mascaras I've used, this one takes the top spot for satisfaction. I dislike clumpy lashes or that 'spider leg' look, but with its metal brush, it's easy to apply just the right amount. It defines each lash beautifully, creating a natural look that I absolutely can't live without! The only downside is that it tends to smudge a bit. While I love how it defines my lashes, it keeps smearing under my eyes, making touch-ups necessary throughout the day. - 25*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinJun 7, 2021
1. Packaging: Luxurious feel Long handle provides good balance 2. Color: Slightly reddish? Looks natural and delicate 3. Brush: Hygienic Easy to clean with a tissue if it gets dirty 1. Clumping: Clumps severely the more you apply Trying to cover clumps makes it worse Should only be applied once or twice Becomes thick and clumpy, looks unsightly 2. Learning curve: Takes getting used to Is this for professionals? Difficult and inconvenient for beginners Seems like you need to comb through it after application It clumps too easily - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 2, 2021
This is the strongest hold I've experienced among all the mascaras I've used. The fixing power is so impressive that you don't even need a separate mascara fixer or to curl your lashes afterwards. It might be due to my lack of skill, but one downside is that it can sometimes clump a bit when applied. Since the applicator part is metal, if too much product comes out, it can lead to some clumping. So, I've found that if it does clump, I just leave it as is and finish with an eyelash curler. This results in a beautifully clean and well-defined look. - ps*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 2, 2021
I've been dying to try this mascara! It applies so evenly and coats each lash beautifully. The color is subtly gorgeous too. It's not the most precise application though. It doesn't coat each individual lash thinly or delicately. The long wand makes it super easy to apply to your lashes. I like to use this as a base coat, then follow up with another mascara for extra volume and length. It works hard to create a fuller, longer lash look. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinMar 12, 2021
I tried brown mascara for the first time, and it gives a natural look that would be great for applying to the lower lashes. I loved that it didn't smudge or flake. Being waterproof, it feels a bit heavy, and I'm disappointed that it's not washable. - ji******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 2, 2021
It applies thinly and seems to have a long-lash effect. The curling is decent too (no need for a separate fixer). Plus, it doesn't smudge easily. Being a metal type, it lacks volume. I wanted both volume and curling, so after purchasing, I don't use it much. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 14, 2021
The color is not overwhelming, but natural and beautiful. The curling effect is great, and above all, the staying power is no joke! The metal tip allows for precise application, and it's hygienic since you can wipe it with a tissue before use. There's nothing... absolutely nothing to complain about... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 13, 2020
☆Skin: Very dry forehead, normal nose (not oily) ☆Eyes: Sensitive, tears up easily with small temperature changes, slightly oily. Even famous long-lasting eyeshadows/eyeliners/mascaras come off easily without a fixer (same with Kiss products) ☆Eyelashes: Upper lashes are full but super thin and straight, so many people think I don't have lashes without mascara. Lower lashes are practically non-existent. Even with a fixer, lashes droop quickly ☆Usual mascara routine: Curler ▷ Etude fixer (also amazing) ▷ Mascara (prefer lengthening) ▷ Eyelash curler Result: Lashes droop after 3-4 hours, need to re-curl ☆Test method: Curler ▷ Neogen mascara (3 coats) I always test new mascaras at home on a day off. I've had panda eye disasters before, so I never use a new mascara on the day I buy it ☆Application: I loved brush-less mascaras from other brands before, as they coated lashes to the roots well. I was excited to try Neogen's metal applicator, which seems more hygienic. The long handle allows for precise application like holding a pencil, and it reaches the roots easily. The application experience is really good I only use mascara 2-3 times a week, so regular mascaras often get clumpy halfway through. I prefer samples or smaller amounts for hygiene reasons, so I'm happy with the Neogen quantity - I'll likely use it up before it gets clumpy ☆Curling effect: I prefer natural-looking pretty lashes and dislike clumpy ones. Ironically, my lashes are full but thin and barely visible. Most mascaras clump at the roots after 2+ coats, but this one feels like it's combing the lashes. Even after three coats, there's no clumping and it curls well. I could even skip my usual eyelash curler ☆Staying power: I was surprised to find no smudging, smearing, or flaking even after a nap. The curl held up well even after 3-4 hours, not drooping enough to need re-curling. This has the best staying power of any mascara I've tried ☆Removal: I don't use a separate eye makeup remover, and it comes off easily with cleansing oil. I was worried about removal due to its strong staying power, but it's convenient that I don't need an extra cleansing step The price is a bit steep. The volume is less than other mascaras at this price point, which is a bit harsh. But considering the staying power, curling effect, and the ability to skip a fixer, I'll have to repurchase Just like how hair looks better after using a curling iron, finishing your lashes with an eyelash curler makes them even prettier
