This sunscreen applies smoothly and feels moisturizing without any stiffness. It's supposed to have a slight brightening effect, but there's hardly any white cast - you can barely notice it. Despite being a mineral sunscreen, I didn't feel dry throughout the day. It seems gentle as it didn't irritate my eyes, and after using it for about a week, I didn't experience any blemishes.
ConsI usually apply sunscreen twice, but when I pat it in after the second layer, small white particles appear on my face. It's definitely from the sunscreen. I'm not sure why, but the same thing happened when I applied it on my husband. The particles seem to disappear when rubbed with fingers. Should I not pat it in? Also, this might be a drawback just for me, but it gives a very dewy look from the moment you apply it. My face looks shiny all day long. It feels like I've applied oil. Since I have oily skin and prefer a matte finish, I'm having trouble getting used to this. Probably due to its non-drying properties, it does make my skin oily. I guess I really do have oily skin after all.
TipIf you're like me and don't like the dewy look, you might want to finish with a face powder.
