Of course, after about five hours, it can start to feel a bit dry. When it does dry out, it seems to have a feature that helps control excess oil. It's incredibly gentle - I can even apply it around my eyes without any stinging. The hydrating formula makes it absorb well. There is a slight white cast, but it's not too noticeable if you pat it in. I love that it has a high SPF!
ConsLike most mineral sunscreens, the common downside is that it can be tricky to remove completely. But that's typical for all mineral sunscreens, so... Applying makeup over this product might be a bit challenging.
TipThis is great for those with super sensitive skin! The sunscreen makes up for the disappointment I had with the glow toner.

This product absorbs just as well as organic ones. There's hardly any white cast, and the best part is that it doesn't sting my eyes at all. It's not irritating at all, so I've never experienced any blemishes from it.
ConsTo be honest, there's nothing disappointing about it. The price is reasonable, and the packaging is simple, making it convenient to carry around and use.

If your skin feels tingling when you apply sunscreen, it might be because zinc oxide doesn't agree with you. Most sunscreens contain zinc oxide, but this product doesn't! My skin is extremely sensitive, prone to folliculitis, and combination dehydrated. I used to experience intense burning sensations when I applied sunscreen and base makeup. But with this product, there's no irritation or eye stinging at all. It doesn't cause any blemishes, and despite being a mineral sunscreen, it's adequately moisturizing. I've finally found my holy grail after being a sunscreen nomad for so long! If you're looking for a gentle sunscreen, I highly recommend giving this a try! I just hope it becomes more widely available so it doesn't get discontinued.
ConsThere are absolutely no downsides. Not a single one!
TipIt pairs well with matte base makeup in the summer!

After researching countless sunscreen ingredients, I decided to try this one based on its good components and positive reviews. #White cast While mineral sunscreens are known for their white cast, this one is noticeably less noticeable. Even after hours of wear, there was minimal shine or patchiness, and no stinging or tingling sensation around the eyes. #Application It absorbs well and doesn't pill or turn excessively white even when applied generously. Compared to other mineral sunscreens, it's less drying, and I didn't experience that parched feeling even after extended wear. #Scent My mom wondered if it contained an anti-inflammatory ingredient, as it has a slight floral scent. However, it's nearly fragrance-free and the subtle aroma dissipates quickly, making it non-irritating.
Cons#Price Considering sunscreen is a daily essential, the price-to-quantity ratio feels a bit steep, which is disappointing.
TipAfter applying a sufficient amount, gently patting it seems to significantly reduce the white cast.

Back when I didn't know the difference between organic and inorganic sunscreens, I used organic ones for a long time, which made my skin sensitive and caused redness. My eyes tend to sting easily, but with this - no stinging at all, which is fantastic! When applied, it gives a subtle glow, not over the top. The absorbs well and feels nicely moisturizing. Even after some time, it's less drying than other inorganic sunscreens I've tried. It's not completely white cast-free, but it does even out the skin tone a bit. No blemishes either! It's the most satisfying inorganic sunscreen I've used so far. I'd definitely repurchase it.
ConsIn the afternoon, it does get a bit oily. I haven't used it during summer yet, so I'm a bit concerned about potential oiliness in warmer weather.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsHere's my review as one of The Hwahae Testers! No eye irritation whatsoever! When choosing a sunscreen, the first thing I consider is eye irritation. Usually, sunscreens make my eyes sting so badly that tears start flowing, but this product caused absolutely no irritation. I'm so satisfied! It must be incredibly gentle on the skin. Just the right amount of white cast I've always used mineral sunscreens because chemical ones irritate my eyes, but the white cast was often too intense and made me look ghostly. This product, however, has a mild white cast that provides a nice brightening effect without being overwhelming. It's perfect for everyday wear. Hydrating formula Many mineral sunscreens tend to be thick and drying, but this one applies smoothly like an emulsion and feels moisturizing. It has a light, hydrating texture that's great for summer, and I think it would work well in winter without causing dryness too.
ConsI'm used to buying drugstore sunscreens with big discounts, so spending over $20 on this one feels relatively expensive. That's a bit disappointing.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsHere's my review as one of The Hwahae Testers: No eye irritation at all! I was worried since some mineral sunscreens can sting my eyes, but this one doesn't at all. It's so moisturizing that even with my dry skin, I can skip my cream. Usually, I'm extremely dry (even in summer, my skin gets desert-like), so cream is a must. But that often makes my makeup heavy and cakey. Add a mask on top of that, and it's an oil slick disaster around my mouth. But this sunscreen is so hydrating that I only needed essence + sunscreen. No dryness, and the oiliness around my mouth actually decreased, even clearing up some blemishes. I wish I'd taken before and after pics (I didn't expect it to help with blemishes, so I didn't think to). It gives a natural 'Inner Glow' effect. My face doesn't feel heavy with oil, it just makes my skin look good. It's less about brightening and more about a natural glow. The texture is amazing. Thick mineral sunscreens can be such a chore to apply, especially when reapplying after sweating in summer - you just want to wash your face and start over. But this is just like a cream. It's so easy to reapply when needed.
ConsWhile it claims to brighten, it's not as dramatic as typical brightening sunscreens. But since it's a mineral formula, you do need to blend well - you might see some white cast on areas like the forehead if you're not careful. However, this isn't unique to this product, so I wouldn't call it a major flaw.
TipIf you have dry skin and love a natural glow, you'll absolutely love this. I'll definitely repurchase when I run out, even though the price is a bit steep. It's worth it for how satisfied I am. I mean, I have extremely dry skin and I could skip my moisturizer! I'll update if I notice anything else as I continue using it.

Skin condition - Cheeks: redness, dryness, sensitive / Forehead, chin, nose: combination dehydrated skin Ingredients: I used it without checking the ingredients, but they're actually quite gentle! It applies without irritation on my sensitive cheeks, and doesn't cause any blemishes. Scent: A pleasant herbal fragrance that's not too strong. Eye irritation: None User experience: Applies smoothly and lightly, doesn't feel heavy or suffocating on the skin, almost no white cast, leaves skin feeling soft and matte (almost no stickiness). / It does become a bit sticky after some time. My mom, who's in her 40s with dry skin, says it's light and great for summer use (might need more cream in winter). My teenage brother with acne-prone skin finds it light and non-sticky. He likes that there's no white cast. Seems ideal for those with oily or sensitive skin. This is my first time trying this brand, thanks to winning The Hwahae Testers selection. I'm pleasantly surprised and now curious about their other skin emulsions! I love that it's not sticky, especially in this weather when you hate that feeling on your face! With masks making us feel stuffy, adding sunscreen can make it worse, but this one feels less suffocating. I'm using it with satisfaction! (Mom really likes it too!)
ConsScent: It's herbal, but my mom was initially put off by it (I think it's fine). It might be a love-it-or-hate-it kind of scent. I think those with dry skin might struggle to use this in winter. (Mom says it's perfect for the current weather - she doesn't get oily even after applying cream and a moisturizing compact foundation)

Most creams come in wide tubes, but this one's different. Despite being a mineral sunscreen, it's not stiff, so it absorbs well. There's no stickiness, making it great for summer use. Instead of leaving a white cast, it has a nice brightening effect. No eye irritation! This is what I'm most concerned about, and this sunscreen doesn't sting my eyes at all. Cream formulas often irritate when applied under the eyes. My daughter tried it too, and it seems gentle. She didn't experience any blemishes. It's also great that it cleanses off easily when washing your face.
ConsLike all cream formulas, you need to wash your hands thoroughly after applying. If you don't control the amount well, your face can end up looking too white.
TipI like how it brightens up my face for light outings when I don't want to wear BB cream.
